STILL ON TEST MOOD WITH THE SPECIAL KIDS: ||FRIDAY||

in Daily Blog4 days ago

Hello my friends @dailyblog, it's your humble girl @happy080 off course. How was your day today.? Hope you are strong and healthy.?

Earlier today was another yet test for the children.

The children had:

  1. Chemistry

  2. I C.T.(Information and Communication Technology)

  3. English Language.

Today was quite different from yesterday's continuous assessment test.
Unlike yesterday, the children had little help from me.They were actually dependent of themselves, I would say, not totally dependent though. But they were able to attempt almost all the asked questions. I just explained the questions a few times and they were good to go.
Actually explaining the questions to these special kids is part of my numerous job descriptions.
I make the obviously difficult questions, easier to understand with examples like body language, nature views and Images around us or photos on the computer. Haven done that, then,I now do a few evaluations by asking questions to get a feedback to know if they really truely understood my explanations. The questions I ask them also helps me to know if these special kids actually assimilated better, easier and clearer enough to answer the given questions.

Today ,the children were needing explanations on literally every question.
I gave numerous examples, using objects, imaginations, nature views, observations, suggestions and pictures from the computer.Still, they said they don't understand.

Then I improvised a new body language ideas, I demonstrated several signs following up with words of explanations. swinging, turning, waving, bending plus facial expressions and every other exercise you can actually think of.
I was infact dancing a break dance without even knowing.😂

The good thing was that, after the long "break dance" 😂(so to speak)they were able to assimilate at last.🥹
I felt relieved and happy at the same time.

Handling these special children needs a whole lot of patience, kindness and love.

Caring for these kids and knowing that I can actually instill knowledge in them in the best little way that i can, really gives me greater happiness.

My special thanks goes to:

Thanks alot.

Great post. As a fellow teacher, i commend your dedication and patience with your students.
I'd use the #education tag in posts like this one. It may allow other teachers to noticed it.

Thanks alot sir,I am really humbled.
Sincerely I still don't know how to generate tags.
the tags: are they based on your experience and write ups?

Hello @happy080 , I will answer this question because it is possible that the person you asked does not know that you asked it.

I recommend that you always tag the person when you make a comment so they will receive a notification and not miss it, because if you don't, they may not see it.

The tags have to be related to the topic of the post, mainly all three. For example, if it is a post about a song, or a music review, it should go to music and review. If it's a movie, movies, cinema. and so on. After 3 you can place the tags of the same community, the first five are the most important.

Although you are far but you seem close.
Thanks for satisfying my curiousity.
Thanks for being there❤️Oh! thank you very much ma'am @soyunasantacruz. You always come through for me.🥰
