Greetings guys 👋🏽, happy day. Today I want to share with you a very beautiful experience that we all lived this February 26th.✨
I must confess that I attended this place two hours before the scheduled time to start this special event. I was very surprised that already at that time there were people already there to take their places to live this unique moment in the history of my country (Venezuela).
Although the news of the canonization was given on the 25th (here I am going to leave you an official link so you can know it in detail), I was able to attend a meeting that day was created for him and this news (beyond the fact that every 26th of the month a special mass is held). This experience reminded me again how important it is to live “within the norm” (but it is a norm that sometimes we can forget). 🗞️

And I liked very much how the outside of the Church of San Francisco (Valencia, Venezuela), was so well cared for and making allegory to the event. All very colorful and strategically placed so that the image of Blessed Dr. José Gregorio Hernández (because he has not yet been officially canonized and this date has not yet been communicated), was present in almost all the place (although later I could also find out that they had some time already placed for a reason that I reveal below).
But before going in, I first went to the square to eat some tasty things I had bought (some sweets and also some soda cookies). And I can tell you that it is a relatively large square and in my opinion it is quite well kept (especially because of all the vegetation and how well kept the chairs are). I liked that it has a lot of space, a beautiful artistic mural with part of our national colors and of course, all the attention is focused on the central statue, which is nothing more and nothing less than Sucre.

✨ Before entering I also took some pictures of the iron figure of Blessed Dr. José Gregorio Hernández (and of all the ones I had, these were the most TOP).
Now, inside, we had to wait approximately two hours before they started, however, they started an hour earlier than estimated. It is worth mentioning that from the time I arrived (around 9:00 a.m.), until about an hour and a half ago, there was no electricity service and even then people kept arriving (although later the service was restored).
We barely got in. And that's the way it stayed. 👀
At first I really liked that the entrance despite being “simple” if we compare them with other buildings we have here, it is equally impressive and the characteristic art for this type of buildings I loved.

And although we chose to sit in one of the rows that were near the exit (because that's where they initially placed a fan 😂), you could appreciate and listen very well to Father Miguel Romero (@padremiguelr).
First he and his team started with a memorial rosary and then with the mass (all this lasted about two and a half hours).
I really liked that the whole experience of this day was focused on the event I mentioned above, but highlighting the importance of:
✳️ That we may live within the norm of life, always bearing in mind that this norm that life possesses is always focused on happiness (and not necessarily related to material goods).
✳️ To live from the virtue of service. And the best example of this type of life is Blessed Dr. José Gregorio Hernández, because he was always at the service of those who needed him most.
✳️ The importance of really valuing what we have and not comparing ourselves with others.
Definitely yesterday for me and I am sure for all present was a unique moment because this and many other spaces nationwide were and are being visited to thank and commemorate how good deeds and miracles cross borders to be recognized. 👏🏽

Debo confesarles que asistí a este lugar dos horas antes de la hora pautada para iniciar este evento especial. Me sorprendió enormemente que ya a esa hora había personas apartando su puesto para vivir este momento único en la historia de mi país (Venezuela).
Aunque la noticia de la canonización fue dada el día 25 (aquí les voy a dejar un enlace oficial para que puedan conocerla en detalle), pude asistir a un encuentro que ese día se creó para él y esta noticia (más allá de que todos los 26 del mes se realiza una misa especial). Esta experiencia me recordó nuevamente lo importante que es vivir "dentro de la norma" (pero es una norma que a veces se nos puede llegar a olvidar). 🗞️

Y me gustó mucho cómo las afueras de la Iglesia de San Francisco (Valencia, Venezuela), estaban tan cuidadas y haciendo alegoría al evento. Todas muy coloridas y estratégicamente colocadas para que la imagen del Beato Dr. José Gregorio Hernández (porque todavía no se ha canonizado oficialmente y todavía esa fecha no ha sido comunicada), estuviese presente en casi todo el lugar (aunque después me pude enterar también que tenían cierto tiempo ya colocadas por una razón que te revelo más abajo).
Pero antes de entrar, primero me fui a la plaza a comerme algunas cosas sabrosas que había comprado (algunos dulces y también unas galletas de soda). Y les puedo decir que es una plaza relativamente grande y a mi consideración está bastante cuidada (sobre todo por toda la vegetación que hay y lo cuidadas que están las sillas). Me gustó que posee mucha amplitud, un hermoso mural artístico con parte de nuestros los colores nacionales y por supuesto, toda la atención se enfoca hacia la estatua central, que es de nada más y nada menos que de Sucre.

✨ Antes de entrar también le tome unas fotos a la figura de hierro del Beato Dr. José Gregorio Hernández (y que de todas las que tenía, estas fueron las más TOP).
Ahora sí, ya adentro, teníamos que esperar aproximadamente dos horas antes de que iniciarán, sin embargo, iniciaron una hora antes de lo estimado. Cabe resaltar que desde que llegué (a eso de las nueve de la mañana), hasta aproximadamente una hora y media, no había servicio eléctrico y aun así las personas no paraban de llegar (aunque después el servicio se restableció).
Apenas entramos. Y así quede. 👀
A primeras me gustó mucho que la entrada a pesar de ser "sencilla" si las comparamos con otras edificaciones que tenemos aquí, es igualmente imponente y el arte característico para este tipo de edificaciones me encantó.

Y aunque elegimos sentarnos en una de las filas que estaban cerca de la salida (porque allí es donde inicialmente colocaron un ventilador 😂), se podía apreciar y escuchar muy bien al Padre Miguel Romero (@padremiguelr).
Primero él y si equipo empezaron con un rosario conmemorativo y luego con la misa (todo esto duró aproximadamente dos horas y media).
Me gustó mucho que toda la experiencia de este día fue enfocada al evento que anteriormente les mencioné, pero resaltando la importancia de:
✳️ Que podamos vivir dentro de la norma de la vida, teniendo siempre presente que esta norma que la vida posee siempre está enfocada hacia la felicidad (y no necesariamente relacionada a los bienes materiales).
✳️ Vivir desde la virtud del servicio. Y el mejor ejemplo de este tipo de vida es el Beato Dr. José Gregorio Hernández, porque él siempre estaba al servicio de los que más lo necesitaban.
✳️ La importancia de realmente valorar lo que tenemos y no compararnos con los demás.
Definitivamente el día de ayer para mí y estoy segura que para todos los presentes fue un momento único porque este y muchos otros espacios a nivel nacional fueron y están siendo visitados para agradecer y conmemorar cómo las buenas acciones y milagros traspasan fronteras para ser reconocidas. 👏🏽
