Hey guys! 👋🏽 Hope you're all doing great. Today, I want to share some photos from my outing last Tuesday downtown (plus a little something extra at the end). So, I had to run some personal errands, and since it had been a while since I last visited Plaza Bolívar, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to take some pictures and share them with you.
When I arrived, the sun was blazing ☀️, making it a bit tricky to take the first few shots (at least until my eyes adjusted to the intense sunlight).
One thing I really liked was how clean the Plaza Bolívar was, and people were actually respecting the space 👏🏽 (mentioning this because it had been a while since I last went there, and I definitely noticed a positive change).

I love how majestic the statue in the center looks—if you take a picture from the right angle, it looks even more impressive! 📸 The statues on the sides of the plaza (some a bit hidden) were also in great condition and blended perfectly with the surroundings. Honestly, I think they were a great artistic choice.

Another striking feature is the Milestones in the History of Plaza Bolívar area. Even though I couldn’t snap a people-free picture (since everyone was posing and taking selfies there 😅), I think this installation adds a different energy to the space—almost a modern touch—while still blending with the plaza’s colonial aesthetic.

Once I finished everything on my to-do list (because yes, I always go out with my tasks written down ✍🏽), I rushed out of downtown—well, almost rushed—because I was starving, and I hadn’t brought anything to buy lunch outside.

By the time I got home (a little later than planned), I jumped straight into the kitchen, feeling like a pro chef 🍽️. Though honestly, due to time constraints, I made a dish that, depending on how you look at it, could be either very sophisticated or not at all 😆.
It was satisfying because, after walking so much while shopping and paying bills, I had zero energy left to cook, but I definitely had the energy to eat—so this meal was the perfect solution!
After eating, I rested for a bit and then joined a Meet on Edison’s platform, focused on no code, which I had been looking forward to for a while.
I really enjoyed this Meet (which lasted a little over an hour) because speakers Tomás, Belu, Damián, and Lucas shared various tools they’ve used or are currently applying—tools that not only help us learn but also inspire us to create based on their experiences.
The Meet centered on analyzing solutions for people who don’t have extensive programming knowledge—commonly known as no code.
Tools like Google Sheets, Notion, Zapier, Make, and Relevance (among many others they mentioned) are no code solutions that help automate highly repetitive tasks. Some of them even allow us to execute specific actions, such as scheduling sessions in a calendar 📅.
I also got to learn about the main tools for APIs and workflow automation, both for front-end and back-end development.
But what I loved the most were the experiences related to AI Agents! 🤖💡 Belu shared a case study on outreach, showing how these Agents can handle various tasks, helping us prioritize what truly matters.
So this Meet left me with some valuable insights:
✅ How can we adopt a problem-solving mindset with the resources we have?
✅ How can we keep learning along the way while making our processes easier instead of unnecessarily complicated? (which, based on the experiences shared in the Meet, can definitely happen if tools aren’t used correctly).
All in all, last Tuesday was a busy, scorching day downtown, but it ended with a lot of learning—packed with practical takeaways to apply to my daily routine! 🚀

Saludos chicos 👋🏽, espero se encuentren todos muy bien. Hoy les deseo compartir varias fotos de mi salida el pasado martes al centro (y algo más al final). Verán, tuve que ir a hacer unas diligencias personales y como tenía un poco de tiempo que no pasaba por la Plaza Bolívar, pues me apreció perfecto tomarle varias fotos para compartir con ustedes:
Al llegar el sol estaba más que brillante ☀️, por lo que fue un poco complicado tomar las primeras fotos (hasta que mis ojos se acostumbraron al sol inclemente).
Me gustó mucho que la plaza estaba muy limpia y las personas respetaban los espacios también 👏🏽 (esto lo comento porque tenía cierto tiempo sin pasarme por allí y bueno, sí noté esa diferencia, bastante positiva).

Me encanta lo imponente que se ve la estatua que está en el centro (y si le tomamos una foto desde un buen ángulo, se ve aún más) 📸. Igualmente, las estatuas que están a los costados de la plaza (algunas un poco escondidas), estaban en muy buenas condiciones y encajan perfectamente en el ambiente (así que para mí estas obras son una muy buena elección).

Otro punto que también es muy imponente es el área de “Hitos en la Historia de la Plaza Bolívar”. Y aunque no pude tomarle una foto totalmente libre de personas (porque las personas posan allí, se toman selfies y más 😅), considero que para el ambiente, esta obra le aporta una energía diferente (hasta un poco moderno podría decir), pero que igualmente combina con el enfoque colonial de la Plaza.

Ya después de hacer lo que tenía en mi lista (porque siempre salgo con los pendientes anotados ✍🏽), me fui corriendo del Centro (bueno, casi, porque ya me estaba entrando el hambre y no me había llevado nada para comprar almuerzo afuera).

Cuando llego a casa (un poco más tarde de lo planeado), me pongo manos a la obra para cocinar como toda una chef profesional 🍽️. Aunque realmente por temas de tiempo preparé un plato que, dependiendo de cómo lo veas, puede ser muy o nada sofisticado:😆
Y me contenta porque realmente caminé tanto comprando otros productos y pagando unos servicios, que llegué con muy pocas ganas de cocinar, más sí de comer, así que fue una gran solución.
Después de comer reposé un poco y me conecté a un Meet de la plataforma de Edison, con enfoque “no code” que estaba esperando bastante:
Me gustó mucho este Meet (que duró un poco más de una hora), porque los ponentes Tomás, Belu, Damián y Lucas nos compartieron varias herramientas que han utilizado o se encuentran aplicando y con las cuales nosotros podemos más que educarnos, inspirarnos para “crear” con base en esas experiencias.
El Meet se basó en analizar experiencias enfocadas al desarrollo de soluciones para las personas que no tienen un conocimiento profundo de programación o lo que llaman comúnmente como “no code”.
Herramientas como Google Sheets, Notion, Zapier, Make y también Relevance (aunque nos mencionaron muchas más), son “no code” que nos permiten realizar tareas sumamente repetitivas. Igualmente, muchas de estas nos ofrecen la capacidad de realizar acciones específicas como: agendar sesiones al calendario 📅, entre otras tareas repetitivas.
Igualmente, en este Meet pude conocer las principales para APIs y flujos de trabajo, para front y back.
Lo que más me gustó de todo fueron las experiencias relacionadas con los "AI Agents" 🤖💡. En el caso que nos compartió Belu, a nivel de "outreach", la capacidad que estos Agents tienen para realizar tareas y permitirnos priorizar otras actividades. Así que de este Meet me llevo grandes experiencias y ejemplos de:
✅ ¿Cómo podemos adoptar una mentalidad resolutiva con lo que disponemos?, para igualmente en el camino ir aprendiendo cada vez más y sobre todo, teniendo siempre presente que si usamos estas herramientas de la forma correcta, estas deben de facilitar los procesos (y no hacerlos más complicados, algo que por las experiencias que escuché en este Meet puede llegar a pasar muchas veces).
Definitivamente, el pasado martes fue un día bastante movido y acalorado en el centro, pero que terminó con mucho aprendizaje, con un enfoque muy práctico para aplicar a mi rutina. 🚀
