Today, I will be sharing with you here my not-so-typical day out. A few months ago, I attended a Toy Expo that was held at SM MOA, an event launched by the Toy Kingdom company. I went there with my husband and his cousin; it wasn’t really part of the plan to go there, but we had nothing to do at that time. So yeah! We went straight to the mall to simply watch and experience this kind of event.
To be honest, before we arrived, I really felt uninterested since this event is intended for the kids and of course the three of us are all adult. So, I wasn’t really expecting that we can do something fun there. But voila! I saw a lot of people around and my eyes are widely open seeing different characters.
As someone who was born in the 90’s, I simply felt amazed by these kinds of events because back then I hadn’t experienced this before. All we did was play outside without toys and no gadgets. I could say the kids in this generation are so lucky because they are more knowledgeable about gadgets or technology, and their parents can bring them to this kind of expo.
My heart is happy seeing a lot of kids there enjoying the different toys and games. The three of us really caught up in the Toy Expo because we also had fun and we couldn’t resist taking a lot of pictures. I felt like being a child again when I got to see Barbie. Ever since I was little, I have been a huge fan of Barbie because I love watching its movies. I could even remember back then when my aunt gave me a Christmas present, and when I opened it, it was a Barbie doll, and I was so happy that time. I was even motivated to buy different types of clothes for her.
If you are also a fan of Ninjago Lego, you won’t miss this out because they made a few displays in these items and you can also buy if you want. They even held a contest for lego collections. It’s very cool to see young boys being so serious building different sets.
Well, this is us being silly around the corner. If I’m not mistaken, this is Monopoly Go. I honestly don’t have any idea about that character, so let me know if you have an idea and what type of character or game that is.
This event really made us unleash our inner child and this is actually an ultimate playground for toy lovers of all ages. The toy kingdom also offers big discounts to every purchase of items that is why no wonder a lot of kids are crying because they wanted to let their moms and dads to buy the toys they really wanted. Well, as a parent, what can they do, you can’t a resist because there’s a lot of characters you can see around like Hot Wheels, Barbie, Marvels, Ninjago, Monopoly, Care Bears, and many more.
After a few moments of unending camera clicks and walking around the expo, we really got tired, so we decided to find something to eat. While looking around to look for food, we saw something at the lower ground and wondered why there’s a lot of people. Eyeglasses on, and I saw a big snake being carried by a girl. And there I realized there’s someone who let his pet be paid for a picture. Well, it’s a bright idea to earn something. And I’m pretty sure there’s precautions and safety measures being applied before allowing this.
Allow me to introduce you to Ramen Kuroda. We chose to eat here since it was our first time and we wanted to experience it. And since I love ramen, I am the one who is most excited. Given that they have branch locations inside SM Malls, perhaps some of you have already tried this. The concept of this restaurant is more like Japanese-quality ramen, and even their interior design looks like a classic Japanese ambiance. The price of the foods here ranges from 220 to 500 pesos, and I ordered AKA RAMEN; it is flavored tonkotsu with a spicy taste. It’s really satisfying in every bite, and the spicy taste suits me well because it’s not too spicy. If you are a pasta lover or a ramen lover like me, you may try this restaurant. In my own preference, this is all good.
To sum up this day, it was a great experience and a memory to cherished. Remember, there is no particular age to play and enjoy. Have fun!
