Hello there, my lovely hives!!! It's me again, Iamlovelykate. I hope you're all doing well. When I joined the community on hive, I was in grade 12, and now I am already in my first year taking up BS—PSYCHOLOGY. For today's blog, I'm excited to share my journey in my first year of psychology 1st semester.
I rarely go to Bogo city, so it's challenging to go to Bogo just by myself. I've been taking my entrance exam on CRMC, and I was so nervous since my father told me that if I can't pass my exam, I will go to CTU Tabogon, but then the fair going to CTU was slightly higher than Bogo.
This school was not new to me because my mother went to in here back then, and she brought me here, I've met my friends and they were so friendly, one of her friends was my teacher now When I was on the campus, I didn't know where the exam room was, and I was shy to ask the guard, so I took the stairs and didn't know where to go. I went back down and asked the guard since I didn't have a choice. I didn't bring a pen on that day and I just borrowed from a stranger, thankfully they were nice.
After placing my order, I watched people come and go as I waited for my food. It felt different—sitting alone, eating alone but in a good way. As I finished my meal, I smiled to myself. This was just the beginning of a new chapter to start.
After that, I went to the thrift store to buy some clothes to wear to school. I then went to the plaza to relax and admire the peace surrounded by trees.
Afterwards, I go to the church, to light some candles and pray that I could pass the exam.
Then headed to the store to buy a bag for my brother.
My brother and I decided to buy street foods at the market. As I crave eating like these snacks.
DAY 1
It's the first day of school, I'm so excited because I will meet new people. This environment feels new to me as the place is full of students. There were booths that they prepared for welcoming the students. My mom accompanied me in here, for an easier process of my papers.
Even though I had a bad quality phone, I tried to capture what happened on this day. A program was created for the 1st year students.
They also designed a freedom board, where students feel free to write what they are feeling.
Our feet were swelling, so we sat on the chairs in the classroom.
Then we decided to explore the booths that they prepared. We go to our department to support them and also to enjoy.
Subsequently, we then headed home. It was a great day experiencing a new environment. I'm so proud of myself for handling things on my own, being independent.
