Hello everyone, today I am going to share with you what happened last Monday at the El Castrero beach resort in the city where I live, San Juan de los Morros, Guárico state. All of this came about because my mother had been called by her job, since many institutions meet at tourist spots to carry out activities with visitors and they, being an institution that has some recreationists, would have various games with prizes for the children, so my sister and I went with her; she because she had never been to the beach resort and I because I was almost two years old since the last time it had also been around these same dates for one of my old jobs.
Hola a todos, hoy les vengo a compartir lo que fue nuestro pasado lunes de carnaval en el balneario El Castrero de la ciudad donde vivo, San Juan de los Morros, estado Guárico. Todo esto surgió debido a que a mi mamá la habían convocado por parte de su trabajo, ya que muchas instituciones se reúnen en puntos turísticos para realizar actividades con los visitantes y ellos, por ser institución que tiene parte de recreadores, tendrían diversos juegos con premiaciones para los niños, por lo que mi hermana y yo la acompañamos; ella porque nunca había ido al balneario y yo porque tenía casi dos años ya que la última vez también había sido para estas mismas fechas por uno de mis antiguos trabajos.
The thing is that we got up very early to arrange everything, so that we were at the meeting point at eight in the morning, where we arrived on time, and then we got on the transport that would take us to the spa. I must say that it is quite far from the city center, so the climb takes 30 to 40 minutes. I wanted to take a photo of the way there, but there was a lady who was talking so loud that I had the vibe of the transport being a bit heavy, but all that cleared up as soon as we got to the place.
La cosa es que bien temprano los levantamos para acomodar todo, de modo que estuviéramos a las ocho de la mañana en el punto de encuentro, donde llegamos puntuales, y luego nos subimos al transporte que nos llevaría al balneario. Debo decir que queda bastante lejos del centro de la ciudad, por lo que subir es de 30 a 40 minutos. Quería tomar foto del camino de ida, pero había una señora que estaba hablando tan duro que tenía la vibra del transporte algo pesado, pero todo eso se despejó apenas llegamos al lugar.
The good thing about arriving early was that there was practically no one there, so after finding the spot where my mom's work group would be and taking the group photo, my sister and I started walking around the place, starting at the main pool where most people usually gather. They were even guarding the edge of where they could swim, since it can be a bit dangerous because of how deep it is.
Lo bueno de que llegáramos temprano era que prácticamente no había nadie en el lugar, por lo que luego de fijar el lugar donde estaría el grupo del trabajo de mi mamá y tomar la foto grupal, mi hermana y yo nos pusimos a recorrer todo el lugar, comenzando en el pozo principal donde la mayoría suele reunirse. Incluso estaban resguardando el límite de donde podían nadar, ya que suele ser algo peligroso por lo hondo del mismo.
Then we went around most of the other wells, also looking for where we would stay for a while and also showing my sister a little, since the last time, due to work, I had gone around almost the entire place taking photos and exploring, so we spent a good while looking and walking around the place.
Luego estuvimos recorriendo la mayoría de los otros pozos, buscando también en donde nos quedaríamos un rato y también mostrándole un poco a mi hermana, ya que la última vez, por el trabajo, había recorrido casi todo el lugar tomando fotos y explorando, por lo que estuvimos un buen rato viendo y caminando por el lugar.
After a while, we stayed in a pool further up from the main one, since it was more lonely, and we took advantage of the opportunity to soak ourselves a bit in the water, although it was super cold, so we spent a while laughing while we entered the water. Meanwhile, another group arrived where we were and from there some policemen were passing by checking the area to make sure everything was safe and a very cute little dog arrived and came straight to greet my sister and was photogenic.
Pasado el rato, nos quedamos en un pozo más arriba del principal, ya que estaba más solo, y aprovechamos a remojarnos un poco en el agua, aunque esta estaba superfría , así que estuvimos un rato entre risas mientras entrábamos al agua. A todas estas, llegó otro grupo a donde estábamos y de allí estuvieron pasando algunos policías revisando la zona para ver que estuviera todo seguro y justamente llegó un perrito muy lindo que llegó directamente a saludar a mi hermana y era fotogénico.
After that, we stayed with my mom for a while while more people arrived and started doing activities, which had a stage and there would be live music and by 11 in the morning it was quite full. Even the place where we were first was already full of people, so we went to another place near where my mom was and we were there in the water for a while until the cold became super strong due to the weather and we left.
Luego de eso, estuvimos otro rato con mi mamá en lo que llegaba más gente y comenzaban a hacer actividades, las cuales tenían una tarima y habría música en vivo y ya para las 11 de la mañana estaba bastante lleno. Incluso el lugar donde estábamos primero ya estaba con muchas personas, así que fuimos a otro lugar cerca de donde estaba mi mamá y estuvimos allí en el agua un rato hasta que ya el frío se hizo super fuerte por el clima y nos salimos.
There were a lot of people, but everything was well protected. There was even medical personnel and my mother and I took advantage of the opportunity to get the flu shot, although the doctor's hand was a bit heavy and the shot still hurts, but other than that we had a pretty easy time. We got off at about 2 in the afternoon, almost falling asleep in the van, and we arrived so tired that I almost fell asleep automatically.
Había muchas personas, pero estaba todo bien resguardado; incluso había personal médico y mi mamá y yo aprovechamos a vacunarnos contra la influenza, aunque la doctora tenía la mano algo pesada y aun me duele la vacuna, pero fuera de eso la pasamos bastante tranquilo. Bajamos a eso de las 2 de la tarde, casi durmiéndonos en la camioneta, y llegamos tan cansadas que me dormí casi que en automático.
