A beautiful day at the Uzlet festival in Cacak, Serbia

in Daily Blog2 days ago

Sometimes we don't realize just how much we need a break until the opportunity presents itself. That opportunity happened to me one day when a colleague invited me to go together to Cacak, a beautiful town in Serbia, to a festival sponsored by the company where we work. It is the Uzlet festival which this year was organized as a picnic family festival.

When we arrived, we checked into the Grand Park Hotel, a 4-star hotel situated along a beautiful walking path by the Morava River, surrounded by greenery.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the accommodation is highly recommended.

On the way, we passed by a school where a mural was painted with the support of our company, as part of a program we call "The world you want".

The path led us directly to the event venue, a park called Mladost.

It is a beautiful park, ideal for family walks and enjoyment by the river.

Visitors started to arrive slowly. There were a lot of them with their children because this year's festival was family friendly.

The children had the opportunity to participate in a workshop organized by the company where I work. As well as having fun with their parents by the river in various activities.

The atmosphere was serene. We had been sitting on the grass, drinking refreshing cocktails, and felt as if time had stopped, with those calming vibes that seemed like they would last forever.

I read an interesting saying on a wooden board: "It is not important where you come from, but what you grow into."

Several bands participated in the festival. It was nice and pleasant to listen to them.

It was also nice to see children playing and singing, happy and free. That's exactly how I felt too.

This time I didn't have time to walk through Cacak, but I saw some interesting murals along the way. There are so many of them, almost at every turn.

And that's how I found out that this city is called "the city of murals" . I recommend all street art lovers to visit it.

The beauty of the place is incredible, I imagine you must have had a great time...the decoration of the gardens and the spectacular murals .... I wish I could walk one day through streets with such paintings ....
