Today, I took Budong, our bull, back from my aunt, who borrowed him last December to inseminate their cows. He was returned this month since we plan to sell him next month to help pay off my parents' debt. My mother helped me with the task, as I couldn't manage it alone.
On another note, I still don’t have a deep well on the farm, so I’ve been fetching water from our main house to cook and meet the needs of my animals. Unfortunately, the streams and brooks are drying up, making water even scarcer. With six cows (three bulls and three cows), three piglets, and many chickens, the need for water is constant.
I’m praying for more rain soon to ease these challenges.
