Togetherness, A Way Of Maintaining A Long Standing Relationship

in Daily Blog4 days ago

Hello my follow Hivers here in the Daily Blog community.I'm so excited to be a part of this lovely community.I wasn't aware of this very community, I just got introduced to it.

I welcome you'll to my blog. It's my first time posting in this community, and I hope I'm highly welcome by you.

Today, I want to share the happiness I have this morning while I was with my friends. It 's been eight years since I finished secondary school, and since then I've not come in contact with some of my class mates back then in school.

It wasn't easy for me, neither was it easy for them.I was highly disturbed, and I felt like seeing them but I didn't know how to go about that.

Since we do have ex_ students prayer submit some times but not often, so I decided that since it's been a while we did that, it would be nice we come together to pray, and also see our classmates whom we've not seen for eight good years.

So today is the day. Some of them that were not far away, were able to come out for the prayer submit. And I could see the joy in their hearts.

We sang and dance to the glory of God, and to the shame of the devil. We were so excited because ,the Lord has been so merciful to each and everyone of us, despite what we went through after our secondary school.

After that we took a group photos outside the church premises. The church we use was baptist church.

It was such an amazing meeting.
When I returned home, I decided to take a shower change up then I went to one of our teachers house back then in secondary school to complete what I started earlier. She and her husband were nice to everyone who went to seek for their help.

When they saw me, they were so excited. They thought I came to their house with other of my classmates so they brought out glass cups which they wanted to put wine for us . But when those cups were brought, I told them I was the only one who planned to visit them.

They wanted to remove three glasses from the tray but I insisted. So I took a picture of it.

Their son whose name is Dara _Mfon ,a native Ibibio name.Ibibio language is spoken in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. He helped in opening the wine, and he also poured it inside a glass cup for me.

I really had a great day filled with love and fun I hope to have more of this as life continues.

Thank you for visiting my blog.

I remain your favorite girl @joyben.
