Beyond merits and awards, beyond receiving a salary for our work, I think there are bonuses that surpass us, even tears.Today I had a wonderful experience, of those that make you feel special, necessary, useful.
As part of the Theatrical Crusade that we develop this week, tribute to the social and human work of art instructors, I had a workshop meeting with a group of adolescents, who attend training studies of libraryology and information management.
My workshop had the subject of the construction of characters from the characterization from the mask;The objective: to achieve comprehensive preparation in young students, giving them tools and showing them other possible resources to apply in their professional development that will mean the necessary motivation and love for reading.To do this, the group of adolescents selected the story of The Little Prince of Antoine de Saint Exhupery, one of the most widespread classics and whose beauty continues to captivate so many readers.
I began to give the workshop with the minimal expectation of capturing interest and gaining space for dialogue with this group but, as our exchange progressed, the youngsters were entering the fantastic world of the characters and the masks began to take shape.Each one had the opportunity to express themselves from visual reinterpretation.Working with few recycled resources were able to create, work as a team, their inventiveness was extended outside their comfort zone.
The time flew and when we noticed lunch time.That was one of the first signs that the seed had caught: his eyes had been opened to this rich universe that the different theatricalities offer to those who get in touch with them.It is the magic of the theater, pure and seductive!But this was not really extraordinary.

Within this group there was someone special.One of the girls has different abilities.His teacher warned me of it and my answer was to give her space, time, trust, offer her a way of inserting and creating with her limitations and characteristics.His voice deserved to be heard and he got it.It turns
out that his main problem is a slow learning and motor difficulties that prevent him from writing and doing manual work.However, that barrier today was destroyed and the girl not only managedPhysical or psychological barriers that prevent flights and songs.
My satisfaction was absolute.I think it is one of the most moving experiences in my professional and personal life.Having those teenagers working for the spiritual good, living a full relationship with art, was a beautiful result;That a young woman with physical limitations could give life to her hands to an idea and express her vision was the peak of the day.What else could desire?Today I felt virtuous and useful.

Más allá de méritos y premios, más allá de percibir un salario por nuestro trabajo, creo que existen gratificaciones que nos superan, incluso hasta las lágrimas. Hoy tuve una experiencia maravillosa, de esas que te hacen sentir especial, necesaria, útil.
Como parte de la Cruzada Teatral que desarrollamos esta semana, homenaje a la labor social y humana de los instructores de arte, tuve un encuentro taller con un grupo de adolescentes, quienes cursan estudios formativos de Bibliotecología y Gestión de la Información.
Mi taller tenía como tema la Construcción de Personajes a partir de la caracterización desde la máscara; el objetivo: lograr una preparación integral en los jóvenes estudiantes, dándoles herramientas y mostrándoles otros recursos posibles a aplicar en su desarrollo profesional que significaran la necesaria motivación y el amor por la lectura. Para ello, el grupo de adolescentes seleccionó la historia de El Principito de Antoine de Saint Exhupery, uno de los clásicos más difundidos y cuya belleza sigue cautivando a tantos y tantos lectores.
Comencé a impartir el taller con la mínima expectativa de captar interés y ganar espacio para el diálogo con este grupo pero, a medida que avanzaba nuestro intercambio los jovencitos se iban adentrando en el fantástico mundo de los personajes y las máscaras comenzaron a tomar forma. Cada uno tuvo oportunidad de expresarse desde la reinterpretación visual. Trabajando con escasos recursos reciclados fueron capaces de crear, trabajar en equipo, su inventiva fue extendida fuera de su zona de confort.
El tiempo se fue volando y cuando nos percatamos ya pasaba la hora del almuerzo. Esa fue una de las primeras señales de que había prendido la semilla: sus ojos habían sido abiertos a este universo riquísimo que las diferentes teatralidades ofrecen a quienes se ponen en contacto con ellas. ¡Es la magia del teatro, pura y seductora! Pero esto no fue lo realmente extraordinario.

Dentro de este grupo había alguien especial. Una de las muchachas tiene capacidades diferentes. Su profesora me advirtió de ello y mi respuesta fue darle espacio, tiempo, confianza, ofrecerle un modo de insertarse y crear con sus limitaciones y características. Su voz merecía ser escuchada y vaya que lo consiguió. Resulta que su principal problema consiste en un lento aprendizaje y dificultades motoras que le impiden escribir y hacer trabajos manuales. sin embargo, esa barrera hoy fue destruida y la muchacha no solo consiguió dibujar sino que además utilizó las tijeras y construyó su propia máscara, dando cumplimiento al ejercicio de clase, demostrando y demostrándose que con el incentivo correcto y el tratamiento de amor, no hay barreras físicas o sicológicas que impidan los vuelos y los cantos.
Mi satisfacción fue absoluta. Creo que es de las experiencias más conmovedoras en mi vida profesional y personal. Tener a esos adolescentes trabajando en pro del bien espiritual, viviendo una relación plena con el arte, fue un resultado precioso; que una joven con limitantes físicas pudiera dar vida con sus manos a una idea y expresar su visión fue el momento cumbre del día. ¿Qué más podría desear? Hoy me sentí virtuosa y útil.
