Friends of #DailyBlog today I want to tell you the experience we live yesterday.The experience of a day that, although loaded with anxiety, ended with a ray of joy for our family.
Yesterday we decided to take Rocío, our youngest daughter, the dentist, a visit that had been subject to concern for @daddyvaldes and for me for his new phobia to dental treatments.
Since Ruth, her older sister, decided to follow a different path in her life and moved to the United States Rocío felt stripped of the familiarity and trust she offered to receive dental attention from someone so close to her.
Ruth was from her first reviews to five years, a constant and reassuring figure.He always knew how to handle little fierecilla he has as a sister.
The loss of this connection undoubtedly influenced Rocío's perception about the visits to the dentist.
A few days ago Rocío began complaining about constant discomforts about his mouth.It was urgent to seek attention.A difficult challenge in today's Cuba.We decided to go see a particular dentist instead of going the state services, luckily the doctor we found was all love and asked us to take her to the dental service of our people where she would work for children.
Rocío empathized her the truth, however, every time we talked about the visit to the dentist, the anguish seized her, evoking memories of those first experiences.
I think the idea of facing a dentist who was not her sister filled her with fear.
Finally, this morning we went to our appointment.
Dr. Lirianna, a specialist in child care, was a blessing
Upon arriving at the clinic, Rocío was still scared but when he entered and seeing the care and affection of the doctor, he knew how to approach her, explained every step of the process in a simple and fun way, as if it were a small game,.As the doctor attended it, the tension dissolved.
The joy of seeing my daughter smile, although a little nervous, filled me with gratitude.At the end of the treatment, Rocío realized that going to the dentist is not as scary as he had imagined.
His father and I could say with relief that I dimods a great step forward.Rocío's experience to the dentist was a mixture of challenges and learning.
I am grateful for today's experience, Osmel and I also feel fear and at the end of the day we fill ourselves with joy and pride when we see our daughter overcome and grow.

Amigos de #DailyBlog hoy quiero contarles la experiencia que vivimos ayer. La experiencia de un día que, aunque cargado de ansiedad, terminó con un rayo de alegría para nuestra familia.
Ayer decidimos llevar a Rocío, nuestra hija menor, al odontólogo, una visita que había sido objeto de preocupación para @daddyvaldes y para mi por su nueva fobia a los tratamientos dentales.
Desde que Ruth, su hermana mayor, decidió seguir un camino diferente en su vida y se mudó a Estados Unidos Rocío se sintió despojada de la familiaridad y la confianza que le ofrecía recibir atención dental de alguien tan cercano a ella.
Ruth fue desde sus primeras revisiones hasta los cinco años, una figura constante y tranquilizadora. Supo siempre como manejar a la pequeña fierecilla que tiene de hermana.
La pérdida de esta conexión influyó sin duda en la percepción que tenía Rocío sobre las visitas al dentista.
Hace algunos días atrás Rocío comenzó a quejarse de malestares constantes sobre su boca. Nos fue de urgencia buscar atención. Un reto difícil en la Cuba de hoy. Decidimos ir a ver a una odontóloga particular en vez de ir los servicios estatales, por suerte la doctora que encontramos fue todo amor y nos pidió que la lleváramos al servicio de odontología de nuestro pueblo donde trabajaría para los niños.
Rocío empatizó con ella la verdad sin embargo, cada vez que hablábamos de la visita al odontólogo, la angustia se apoderaba de ella, evocando recuerdos de esas primeras experiencias.
Creo que la idea de enfrentar un odontólogo que no era su hermana la llenaba de miedo.
Finalmente, esta mañana fuimos a nuestra cita.
La doctora Lirianna, especialista en atención infantil, fue una bendición
Al llegar a la clínica, Rocío seguía asustada pero al entrar y ver las atenciones y el cariño de la doctora, supo cómo acercarse a ella, le explicó cada paso del proceso de manera sencilla y divertida, como si se tratara de un pequeño juego,.le mostró sus guantes rosados solo para ella y Rocío, poco a poco, comenzó a sentirse más cómoda. A medida que la doctora la atendía, la tensión se fue disolviendo.
La alegría de ver a mi hija sonreír, aunque un poco nerviosa, me llenó de gratitud. Al final del tratamiento, Rocío se dio cuenta de que ir al dentista no es tan aterrador como había imaginado.
Su padre y yo pudimos decir con alivio que dimod un gran paso hacia adelante. La experiencia de Rocío al odontólogo fue una mezcla de desafíos y aprendizajes.
Estoy agradecida por la experiencia de hoy, Osmel y yo también sentimos temor y también al final de la jornada nos llenamos de alegría y orgullo al ver a nuestra hija superar y crecer.

Qué genial leer que una visita al odontólogo tenga un final feliz, es tan comprensible el pánico de tu hija, esas son de las experiencias menos interesantes de la niñez. Mis felicitaciones a ella por su valentía y a quien la atendió, los profesionales de la salud que hacen su trabajo tan bien son hermosas personas, no solo cumplen con su trabajo sino que lo hacen con amor a pesar de la precariedad y lo difícil de enfrentarse a esas tareas cada día.
Espero que no tenga que volver pronto, pero que cundo lo haga le vaya igual de bien y muchos éxitos a la hija mayor en ese nuevo camino. ¡Un abrazo!

Con gusto, creo que hablar sobre estos temas en donde vemos como los pequeños se sobreponen a las adversidades es muy importante para visibilizar la importancia de acompañar y entender a los niños.
