RE: I Think I Know What It's Like In Paradise.

in Daily Blog3 months ago

I wish you a good night's sleep... and that your wife is in good health. I suffer from apnea too, so when I read you I felt a bit scared. I don't really think about it, you know? I've been listening to some lectures by Mario Alonso Puig, he's a surgeon, lecturer and writer, and he was talking about fear. He says that fear is produced when there is an absence of love... and that we can all contribute to help the people around us, acquaintances, strangers and very dear people to face their fears, with love. I think you are not lacking in that... Puig says that everything depends on how we see and perceive our reality. We can choose between seeing a world in chaos, or - let's say - our own world, or one that is beautiful, prosperous and with a lot to contribute to us in its little things and details. So I don't think I have much more to say. We must pay attention to dreams.

Happy festive season and may love continue to nest in your home.

Thank you.

Well, @nanixxx, I start with an apology for the delay but I have a strange end of the year, with many unexpected problems that appear now and change my schedule more and more. Many of these are things not resolved in their own time and now they are taking revenge... Unfortunately, I learn nothing from this.

I have also read that fear is the cause of many evils in our lives. Health is especially affected.
Interesting what Mr. Puig says, love is the solution but... it will never be universal enough to overcome its opposite. So, as a philosophy, it sounds good, but in reality, in the big picture, it occupies a small space. Of course, in the small circle in which we live, we can each try and succeed in small sequences of life. Otherwise, I remember a sequence from a movie whose title I forget, with John Travolta playing the role of an archangel, a... Michael, I think it was. He was down to earth and a nonconformist saint, a big hit with the ladies, smoked and scratched himself in embarrassing places...
Funny I remember this scene. He said: "As John and Paul said" and here someone asks him: "Apostles?" and he says: "No, the Beatles" ... "All we need is love!"

Happy festive season and may love continue to nest in your home.

I looked for a wish as good as yours and I couldn't write it, so I'll end with the wish that it will be the same for you!
