Today the second day of my four day lazy long weekend saga continues. Again, I woke up around 9am today and took out the two furry kiddos, Sakura and Haru, to the park.
After we got back home, the two had a half bath and then all of us had a quick breakfast as I was then meant to meet up with my friend and his family to go house viewing.
The appointment was originally at 1pm, but on the way it turned out not to be as straightforward as we thought it would be. Everyone in the city must have planned to go out to the countryside altogether as the roads were jam packed. Nonetheless, I didn’t let it get to me so I simply enjoyed the music I was listening to and to add to that the weather today has been really fine with some sunny spells.
~Here a photo after the traffic jam and when it was finally possible to step on the gas a bit more. 😄~
Since we were running late, my friend had to call the agent to notify them of the situation. With almost 45 minutes delay, we eventually arrived. We were given a quick tour of a three bedroom house which was pretty much still under construction and then we had the chance to explore additional home models that have already been completely staged for interested buyers to see. It was nice to be part of the excitement in finding the one true home were you can eventually settle down.
Around 3pm we then decided to grab something to eat. House hunting made us hungry! We first tried going to a local pub to have something quick but unfortunately the one we got to wasn’t serving any food until 6pm, therefore we quickly had to change our plan as the kids haven’t had anything to eat for a while as well. After sticking our heads together to come up with an alternative, we ended up going to a fast food restaurant. Our hunger was promptly satisfied and the kids were happy! We chatted for a little while and then separated our ways from there.
I headed back home but decided to stop by a wildlife shop to just look around. I was thinking that watching different types of fish swimming around and hearing water running would certainly contribute to my long weekend of relaxation.
It was indeed a calming experience. I however got out of the store with two new additional members of the family 😅. I bought two gold fish and a water plant.
I then truly headed home without any further detours and now I am sitting on my comfy couch and just continue chilling. I hope you are doing something similar.
Happy Saturday evening to you all!
You got a great day there! That house looks really comfortable with the type of room. :)
Your dogs are cute as always. Oh, I love to see fish for long time! Beside, the water is calmer 🙂
Thank you! The house is amazing but unfortunately quite remote. You’d need a car for it really.
