Hi my darling hivers
Welcome back to my blog, I promised in my last article to keep you guys posted on my mini vacation with my family. We are having a weeks vacation and so far so good it’s Been fun. It has been years my sisters and I have had the luxury of sitting and bonding and laughing heartily physically. These past days just makes me appreciate the gift of family, having people you can be yourself with, people you absolutely love and care about.

Ok so where did I stop?
After arriving late that night, we were slated to move to the island of Lagos on Monday but first we had to make the kids hair, both my neices. So in the morning on Monday, the hair dresser came to my sisters house and had their hair done. It got finished really late into the day which wasn’t what we planned tho but we had to work with the time we had left. And so we got ready and ventured out to head to the island by 6pm. If you know Lagos you would know that this was a like walking into a death trap of traffic. At first the ride went by smoothly, we got to the island without any traffic or hiccups. As soon as we got to the island that was when the real trouble started, we experienced really slow moving traffic and we ended up
getting to our air-bnb by 10:30pm in the night.
We were so tired and hungry, we just quickly settled in, gave the kids a bath and fed them and then had our own bath and went to bed. It was an exhausting day. The next day we set out early because my sister needed to get her hair done. She actually had two appointments for Tuesday so we needed to start out on time in order to be able to achieve both. Luckily for us and for her we did.
After getting her hair done we headed to her body sculpting appointment. We got there by 5pm, it was an hour duration of body work and by 6pm we were done. We started to head back to our apartment. And once again, we were met with traffic, not only that, my sisters car which we drove all the way from the mainland the previous day begain to develop fault, we were stuck by the side of the road for almost two hours before help came and we were able to move out of there. Two Good Samaritan men stopped to help and luckily for us one of them was a mechanic. My sister quickly took his number so that he can come and continue the repairs early today.
And as expected we got home late again, 9:40pm. We were tired and hungry but at the same time just glad to be home.
Today is going to be fun day out with the kids as we are taking them to a few fun places today, just stick around for update.
