It's my sixth Hive birthday. I've spent the last six years posting, curating, and supporting content on this platform almost every single day!
I believe It's certainly one of the best milestones!
I almost forgot this day until hivebuzz reminded me. Otherwise, I will buy a real cake to celebrate. Till then, I have to enjoy this AI-generated cake.
How time flies, no?
Earlier, I was a very active member of Hive. I used to be on so many dapps, was on top commenter lists many many times, and posted every single day.
Now, I'm a little laid back because of my offline schedule. But I certainly made Hive one of the closest to my heart. Because I miss interacting here if I don't get active in a few days.
It always feels great to be a witness to the growth of Hive. I sometimes wonder, how far it would go. The passion behind it sure tells me, that it will create some lasting benefits and I'm all for it.
There's no need to say, how much I have learned in these past 6 years. A non-English speaker like mine because a daily blogger on Hive. What's more surprising than this?

And if I talk about the people, then it would be hard for me to find words.
Whereas on other platforms there are bullies, people who would not let you grow. But here in Hive I didn't come across them so far. And I wish it goes that way. It would be much more welcoming for the newcomers, wouldn't it?
Now, let's talk about the money side.
I was talking with my husband the other day, like, without the initial investment Hive didn't ask me for anything; no monthly subscription, no charge, nothing. Rather Hive is giving back much more compared to what we put in.
Yeah, you can talk about how blockchain works and all. But from a regular user's perspective, this is true that newcomers don't have to have much to start their journey and grow in Hive. It's comparatively more rewarding and easy than any offline thing or even online work.
I truly feel blessed and appreciate what I got from Hive.
There were ups and downs in the 6 years. Sometimes I felt so low that I couldn't write a word, and didn't publish in months. But I came back, I connected with the people I love, and they gave me the spirit; the money side motivated me to not give up.
This is the beauty of this platform. Things have changed and will continue to change as it's part of the process. But if we are consistent, if this platform keeps its promises; then it will flourish in the long term!
