Embrace, Cherish, Enjoy

Hello Hivers! Good day to each of you. For today's blog, I will be talking about my Saturday vibe. Let's dive in....

Every Thursday and Saturday, I participate in worship, and it's the highlight of my week. Last Saturday, I felt a great sense of relief when I got to attend worship. It’s as if all my concerns vanished—my worries about the upcoming research defense, periodic exams, and quizzes disappeared. This allowed me to concentrate more on the topics discussed during our worship meeting and strive to give my best effort.

Upon arriving at our kingdom hall, the first thing I did was to greet my fellow believers. We had a great time filled with laughter, supporting one another, and learning from each other's experiences.

Some of my fellow believers are students, too. We encourage each other and ask about how our school days went. We just laugh at each other if it appears that we seem to have had the same embarrassment in school. But of course, this bond also strengthens our faith, becoming more resilient both physically and spiritually.

A Few Lessons I Have Learned:

Do not let worries and anxiety take over your life:

I've learned that while anxiety and fear are part of our experiences, there are some things we can do to reduce their impact. The more we allow ourselves to be overtaken by these feelings, the more we compromise our happiness. Spending time in beloved places or with cherished people can significantly help in reducing this issue. There is so much more in this world to be concerned about. It feels like breaking free from a prison when you know you're innocent. It’s challenging, but ultimately, it’s a battle worth fighting.

Ruffa, why are you always attending worship? Because I have found that the more time I spend with God, the more resilient I become. Although life has been challenging recently, I’ve managed to cope, not due to my wisdom or strength, but because I maintain a solid spiritual routine.

Love is always there:
I have always observed others saying that “love was just something that we have imagined to make ourselves better.” But the truth is, there is love. It can be seen everywhere. It does not always have to be a romantic type of love, but it is still LOVE. Love is always the reason why we choose to live. Love is the reason why we need to be happy. Spending time with your beloved people is the definition of love itself.

So do not be consumed with things that do not have to do with love. You can still choose love even if you feel anxious.

Gratitude
The more often I participated in daily worship, the more I grew appreciative of the blessings I have in my life. It serves as a reminder to value even the tiniest gifts.

Waking up each morning is a blessing as well. So let’s be grateful for it. I have heard many individuals lamenting about “why they continue to exist in this world when, in reality, it is neither beautiful nor enjoyable.” Yet, they often overlook that it was made possible by God. Gratitude and thankfulness are essential for leading a joyful and fulfilling life rather than material wealth.

Purpose and Direction

What is your life's purpose?

To fulfill what God intends for me. To seek my own happiness and appreciate this chaotic world. To live in peace and discover my place in it.

That is usually my response when people inquire about my purpose in life. This is largely influenced by my optimistic perspective on worship.

Ruffa, don't you find it boring to follow the same routine every weekend?
Not at all, because this is how I discover my purpose in life. I derive satisfaction from this work I engage in.

Embrace, Cherish, Enjoy

Many individuals often overlook the importance of valuing the small things in life. However, I have come to understand that life is designed to impart lessons. Each action we take holds its own significance. This is the sentiment I wish to share with others; I want them to experience the same fulfillment that I have known.

Thank you for reading my blog. What do you think about this?
