It's cold, it's been raining here since last night. It's not the continuous kind, it stops, the sky will turn a little brighter than when we thought it wouldn't rain anymore, then here it will come again. We went to the market to buy ingredients for lunch. We didn't bring umbrella, like the usual, I wore my cap and facemask. The weather is a little nice, and then the rain started again. Lol. I told Mama we won't walk back home in that rain, so I said we'll wait until it stops.
I don't really want to get sick, so better be safe than sorry later. I'm just glad I always wear my cap no matter how near or far out the destination was. I didn't really wear a cap before, in fact, I hated it because I felt ugly when I wore a cap. I don't know, I just felt like I didn't look okay with it. I only started wearing a cap when I started to lose hair and the back of my head started showing skin on it. Lol. Ahh, I hate it, so no choice but to wear a cap. Lol. This is the kind of problem im facing now, lol.
Anyways, here we are taking shelter inside the public market near the vegetables section. We are just walking around in there pretending to check every stall when the truth is we are just killing time. Lol
We walk and walk, and you know while doing that, Mama remembers that she had to buy this and that, especially that thing she keeps on forgetting. She really hated writing it down on paper. I told her a lot of times that she should better write the things she needs to buy so that she won't forget them, but she's just too stubborn. Mama can't accept that she's forgetful now. Lol. I am worse than her, though, when it comes to that, that's why if I'm not writing it on my phone, I'll write it on my palm then. Lol.
And so, yeah, after a minute, it's still raining. Mama is buying a bottle of vinegar in there, after that, we're supposed to go home already, but no, I really said not yet.
I'm really jealous of those people that own any vehicle and know how to drive. I only know how to ride a bike, but it's been too long since I last rode one. I think I was still in high school then. I'll be more fond of riding a bike then if only our bike looks more on the feminine side. You know, that kind of bike that has a basket in front. But ours is the customized one, which is for a man. I don't really like it. Lol.
Anyways, we went back to the wet market to check the other fish available in there. But unfortunately the only fish they sell in there are the big one and also tilapia and milkfish. There's not much catched fish in there. Tilapia is really fresg and still alive. It keeps on jumping, so sometimes it gets on the floor. Maybe they really want to escape. Lol
So Mama decided to just buy a cooked vegetable dish in one of the eateries in there. And after that we then decided to go back home. The rain hasn't completely stopped, but it's not enough to wet us, so we just walk faster to reach home faster.
And here's the simple lunch I made. And yes, it's just canned tuna, and I put potato in it. I also bought dried fish that I fried to pair with this dish. I actually just sautéed them together. An easy-to-prepare dish for me and the oldies. I didn't eat much rice even though the dried fish is really good. I ate a lot of potato, though.
And here's a cute photo I took today. It's still raining as of typing this, just a light one, and I love that it's cold right now. And ah, I edited it a bit, I enhanced it and applied color tone to it. What do you think, guys?

days like that when the rain comes and goes can be so frustrating
as for caps, I always used to wear caps I was lost if I went out without one, but a few months ago I got bored with my super short haircauts and have let it grow so I now have a pony tail and now dont wear a cap

Yah, fresh fish is really good in soupy dish. Then mix it with green veggies, perfect!
It's also delicious , put it lot of chayote I'm drooling now thinking about that kind of food haha. I kept thinking I want to cook tinola with a lots of chayote tomorrow lol .
