Hello bees! I’m back with my new blog, it’s been a busy week since a big event has come here in our school. A special month for all girls and women out there, every strong and powerful women and heroes as well! A mother, a sister, girlfriends and all! Even doctors, nurses, teachers who are women, a very loud and proud of being a women after all. Despite any discrimination on the progress women have made on different fields, there’s still a very great impact and empowerment on this day forward. Let me share you what my school did on Women’s Month.
A various events and stall were showcased on that day, a very powerful and beautiful way to appreciate women on our school. First I want to talk about is the lovely photo booth that our SSG officers have made, you can take any pictures with any props and head dresses so that you can have cute pictures with your friends! The theme was purple to represent the women empowerment, a very beautiful and strong color that represents us of course. Next is the beautiful ukay-ukay haul for the students to choose one item to grab and take it with them, a very beautiful way to have fun with friends hauling on that section. I chose nice things in there of course, bags and a jacket! It’s very useful and cute. It’s really a brilliant idea to have these kind of event and stuff for women’s month, we can really see how our school support women especially when it comes to teachers and students.
There is also a freedom wall where you can really see some of the beautiful confessions and messages for women, the theme and all the activities really has some great points for us and how we admire the very outgoing event. It really represents the voice of diverse and empowerment among us in any races, color of the skin and also the appearances, it’s not just an event but a movement that screams all women are strong and equal, how the inclusivity is seen on the event. It’s not just advocating the women’s month but also to let us see how we are powerful and beautiful in our own ways, it really inspires us more to move forward and build all the confidence we have.
It is more than just a demonstration and advocacy for us, it’s more than words I can express how happy I am on this event. It highlighted how we are also important on the community, how career equality has been seen and how beautiful it is to be a woman and a mother. It always keeps us in mind that it is not just a one time event but a continuo movement for us.
Indeed it's women month, shout out to y'll loving and hardworking women. I will forever advocate for career equality. This world must be better than what it is. Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece
