Hello there bees! It’s me again, just tryna cope up to life ever since I am too drowned on my preliminary exams. Well since we are all busy and very stressed about life, we really need someone and something to eat. A very known filipino street food that all filipinos love and very affordable on it’s own price! Meet one of the most famous street food here, the quail eggs coated with a orange colored batter also known as “kwek-kwek”. Since the day has been so busy and kinda bumpy, it’s really nice to satisfy our cravings and eat a lot or so we called the stress eating. Indeed we need something to chew other than our problems!

Kwek-kwek is a famous street foods dish in the Philippines, it is also known to students who are on the budget since it is really affordable and indeed good for snacks. What I love about this is it’s really good and most of the time, I only eat this dish since it’s the only thing I can afford. In this mini cart, they sell not only kwek-kwek but also a variety of street foods like tempura, squid rolls, hotdogs and even fishballs. They also sell some of the local and famous drinks in here like calamansi juice, gulaman (a drink with a lots of jello) and also the coconut milk. As a student who is on a budget, I am happy that I could eat all this and my money is only 30 pesos! Indeed I can buy 3 kwek-kwek and a juice and I’ll be full. I always love street foods since I was a kid and I really admire the local taste of this kind of foods, low price, and also the yummy sauce that they put on these foods is really to die for!

What I love more than eating on these kind of foods, is having my friends beside me. They always make me eat more and talk more, it’s like not eating sadly since you have someone who can join your vibe and eat these kind of things! Friends really are the best part of your college days, and I am glad I have not just one but a lot of friends. Foods and friends really come together, they make everything good and delicious. Not just the food but also life, I am thankful not just for the food but also for these people that are here in my life. Foods and friends really go together!

I recently watched a travel vlog from Youtuber eating kwek kwek and I was so curious about the recipe. It looks so yummy and also nutritious, minus the fact it's deep fried 😆 I am going to find the recipe and try it at home since it's something I'd definitely love to try!

I have no tried cooking it at home, but with this idea I can definitely try haha hoping to see the recipe though!❤️❤️

eating kwek kwek with friends after class is truly a great bonding 💗

Yes it is! ❤️❤️

Stress eating never looked this good! 😋🔥

Heck yeah! Sometimes I really crave this kind of foods when I'm stress eating.😭

Kwek-Kwek tapos palamig ni manong, aruy, the best! Black gulaman or with pineapple juice, whatever is available. You surely deserve this treat, especially you are all so busy about life, studying and all. Seeing this made me crave for it. Huhu i want it right now!

It's kinda near our school so I really ate this like everyday before but now I rarely eat these kind of foods because of busy days.🙁

Eyy, that's more amazing coz at least if you get hungry it's just near and you can easily buy it. Yon lang if you're too busy talaga, wala ng time.

Ahhhh!! I miss eating kwek kwek after school! It’s these moments you truly have to cherish because it’s once in a lifetime 🤍

Indeed it is! I really love these kind of moments especially when this is the kind of snacks you'll find when you were a kid.❤️

Every food tastes better with friends!!🤗
