Here on the Island, excitement is in the air, because there are only a few days left until Carnival begins. You can feel the energy everywhere, with more people arriving to enjoy the celebrations.
Those days leading up to carnival always bring with them more activity: traffic becomes heavier, shopping malls fill up, and hotels begin to operate at maximum capacity. Aquí en la Isla, la emoción está en el aire, porque solo faltan unos días para que comience el carnaval. Se siente la energía en todas partes, con más personas llegando a disfrutar de esta celebraciones.
Esos días previos al carnaval siempre traen consigo más actividad: el tráfico se vuelve más denso, los centros comerciales se llenan, y los hoteles empiezan a operar a su máxima capacidad. Hoy en particular fue un día lleno de actividades y soluciones y reunión.Amigos de #dailyblog, espero que estén teniendo un día excelente y lleno de cosas lindas y positivas.
But, before arriving at that meeting, I decided to leave home early to take the time to do my route calmly. For me, being able to enjoy the scenery while on the road is a way to disconnect, relax and recharge my batteries. Nature has that magical effect on me: it fills me with peace and helps me focus. Plus, today's sunny day made everything even more pleasant.
My husband, who knows how important it is for me to arrive calmly at my meetings, offered to drive me, even though the work van was making a strange sound that required attention.
He dropped me off at my destination and then took the van to the shop. Knowing that he was on top of things allowed me to focus on the meeting and contribute to the positive, collaborative environment.
Pero, antes de llegar a esa reunión, decidí salir temprano de casa para tomarme el tiempo de hacer mi recorrido con calma. Para mí, el poder disfrutar del paisaje mientras voy en camino es una forma de desconectarme, relajarme y recargar energías. La naturaleza tiene ese efecto mágico en mí: me llena de paz y me ayuda a centrarme. Además, el día soleado de hoy hizo que todo fuera aún más placentero.
Mi esposo, quien sabe lo importante que es para mí llegar tranquila a mis reuniones, se ofreció a llevarme, incluso aunque la camioneta de trabajo estaba haciendo un sonido extraño que requería atención.
Me dejó en mi destino y luego llevó la camioneta al taller. Saber que él estaba al pendiente de todo me permitió concentrarme en la reunión y contribuir al ambiente positivo y colaborativo.
We met with the Sun Sol chain to discuss possible contingencies that could arise during this crucial week. The main idea was to be prepared and ensure that everything runs smoothly. We want the tourists to have a smooth carnival. It was a very productive meeting, we were all aligned in finding effective solutions, and it gave me great satisfaction to see how the whole team worked with a positive attitude.
After the meeting, he called me to inform me that the truck would need more time in the workshop, as they had to change the oil because they had not put the right one in previously. But as always, he found a quick solution: he came to pick me up with the bike, and together we headed to the warehouse to pick up some products we needed for the Colorado. Despite the adjustments to our plan, everything flowed efficiently and stress-free.
Nos reunimos con la cadena Sun Sol para hablar sobre los posibles imprevistos que podrían surgir durante esta semana crucial. La idea principal era estar preparados y garantizar que todo fluya sin problemas. Queremos que los turistas tengan unos carnavales, sin contratiempos. Fue un encuentro muy productivo, todos estábamos alineados en encontrar soluciones eficaces, y me dio una gran satisfacción ver cómo todo el equipo trabajó con actitud positiva.
Después de la reunión, me llamó para informarme que la camioneta necesitaría más tiempo en el taller, ya que tenían que hacerle un cambio de aceite debido a que no le habían colocado el adecuado anteriormente. Pero como siempre, encontró una solución rápida: llegó a recogerme con la moto, y juntos nos dirigimos al almacén para recoger algunos productos que necesitábamos para el Colorado. A pesar de los ajustes en nuestro plan, todo fluyó de manera eficiente y sin estrés.
Before returning home, we spent some time at the Ferreteria Mundial organizing some orders to ensure clarification for the week.

Then we went home, because my husband had to leave again later to attend to the workshop.
These are the days when there are moments, when we face the small challenges of everyday life with optimism and teamwork, which fill me with gratitude.
Nos fuimos luego para la casa, porque después mi esposo tenía que volver a salir más tarde para atender lo del taller.
Así son los días cuando hay momentos, en los que enfrentamos los pequeños retos del día a día con optimismo y trabajo en equipo, los que me llenan de gratitud.

Querida María, muchas veces he escuchado a personas decir que ellas solas se bastan. Y a mi modo de ver, una persona sola no se basta, en nada si no recibe apoyo, ya sea tecnológico o personal, siempre es bueno trabajar en equipo, ya sea una familia, un amigo, un novio o esposo, no en vano el ser humano necesita vivir en comunidad.
Me complace que se sienta parte de mi recorrido.
