Hello dear hives, I hope your day is great and productive.
My days are almost always very productive. I try to organize everything in my mind the night before, when I get ready for bed, and after that I can sleep peacefully. I try to combine tasks and group the ones I have to do around town. If someone is getting married, or my son or husband has something in particular, it can also add up. That's the reason my days are almost always productive and I manage to accomplish my tasks successfully.
Today I had one more task: to take care of a little friend, as his parents had to run some errands. I'll tell you how my day went.
I got up early, as usual, to deliver only the minutes of the debacterization at the hotel. The day was sunny, but cloudy at times. These are the vagaries of nature here on the island.

Mis días casi siempre son muy productivos. Trato de organizar todo en mi mente la noche anterior, cuando me dispongo a ir a la cama, y después de eso puedo dormir plácidamente. Trato de combinar las tareas y agrupar las que tengo que hacer en la ciudad. Si alguien se casa, o mi hijo o esposo tienen algo en particular, también se puede sumar. Esa es la razón por la que casi siempre mis días son productivos y logro cumplir mis tareas con éxito.
Hoy tenía una tarea más: cuidar a un pequeño amigo, ya que sus padres tenían que hacer unas diligencias. Les contaré cómo fue mi día.
Me levanté temprano, como de costumbre, para entregar tan sólo las actas de la desbacterización en el hotel. El día estaba soleado, pero a su vez nublado en ocasiones. Son caprichos de la naturaleza acá en la isla.
On the way I noticed a river, which, to tell the truth, I had not noticed before. Maybe it is because there were rainy days that I am seeing it now, since here on the island there are many rivers that are called dry rivers because they can only be seen when it rains and spend the whole year with its dry riverbed. I could see this one from Luisa Cáceres Avenue, and since I can't stay still, I looked for someone to ask. A local told me that this river is called Rio de la Asuncion, which rises from the Copey mountain massif and reaches the Gasparico lagoon, which I have to go to later. As it has been raining at night for a few days, that is why the river is easier to see.
En el camino me percaté de que se veía un río, que, a decir verdad, no había notado antes que estaba allí. Tal vez porque hubo días de lluvia es que lo estoy viendo ahora, ya que acá en la isla hay muchos ríos que llaman ríos secos porque nada más se ven cuando llueve y se pasan todo el año con su cauce seco. Este se veía desde la avenida Luisa Cáceres, y como no me puedo quedar quieta, busqué a quién preguntar. Un lugareño me dijo que ese río tiene por nombre Río de la Asunción, que nace del macizo montañoso Copey y llega hasta la laguna Gasparico, a la cual tengo que ir más adelante. Como días atrás ha llovido en las noches, por esa razón se ve el río con mayor facilidad.
After appreciating the river, I continued on my way to deliver the minutes to the hotel and then went back to take care of the son of some friends for a few hours.

He listened to me attentively, he is very intelligent and he is only two years old. Soon his parents arrived and he left very happy, and in his own language he told me that he would come tomorrow, which for him could be any time.
El niño es encantador; no parecía que había un niño en casa, solo veía sus comiquitas en el teléfono. Después de darle su merienda. Yo me di a la tarea de enseñarle las frutas de la planta de parchita que tengo en casa y le expliqué la importancia de tomar jugos. Él me escuchaba atentamente, es muy inteligente y tan solo tiene dos años. Enseguida llegaron sus padres y se fue muy contento, y en su lenguaje me dijo que vendría mañana, que para él puede ser en cualquier momento.
Well, dear friends, after the little one was taken away, I continued checking my fruit plants, which are very happy and productive thanks to the rains of days ago. The cherry plant has already started to ripen its fruits.

And the desert flower also opened its flowers in gratitude for the rain, as did my magic clover. I call it that because it usually hides for periods during the year and then reappears, but mine spends the whole year outside and blooms mostly.
Pero no solo ellas están floreciendo, mi planta de pinga de jardín ya le está brotando su flor, que es su fruto. Es muy hermosa. Y la flor del desierto también abrió sus flores en gratitud de la lluvia, al igual que mi trébol mágico. Lo llamo así porque lo normal es que se esconde por periodos en el año y después vuelva a aparecer, pero el mío se pasa el año entero afuera y florecido mayormente.

A mi también me encantó el río, he pasado muchas veces por su lado y nunca me había fijado en él, a veces el día a día nos absorbe tanto, que perdemos la capacidad de apreciar el entorno en el que vivimos.

I love my plants and it gives me great pleasure to harvest some of my food.
