I have one thing. EAT RAMEN!
Maybe for you guys, eating ramen is something you do often because you love it. However, for me who doesn't really like ramen, but strangely enough, almost every time I travel to a city, there is always an unintentional ramen eating agenda. Can I call it Inadvertent Ramen? LoL
This is my story when I traveled to Semarang and my change of clothes were all dirty, so I searched for a quick laundry that I could wait and take home. I finally found one in the Tembalang area on Durian Raya street.
This is a quick laundry with a self service system. So after weighing the total weight of my laundry and paying for it, I put it in the washing machine myself. It took at least thirty minutes for my laundry to finish grinding.
While waiting for my laundry to finish, I was very hungry because I hadn't had breakfast yet. Finally, I ducked into the ramen shop right next to the laundry place. JOFFI RAMEN.
This Joffi Ramen restaurant already has many branches in other big cities, one of which I've found near where I live in Ciputat, South Tangerang. However, since there was no time to visit the one in my area, I tasted Joffi Ramen in another city when I was traveling. Hahaha.
My friend and I went in and chose a seat close to the ordering counter. I ordered the mala ramen with extra beef, while my friend ordered the shoyu ramen with extra beef as well. I ordered the enoki takiage which was very crispy.
Looking around, almost all the diners were teenagers and mostly women. For some reason, this typical ramen food is more favored by girls than boys? Is there any valid data, or is it just me?
Our order came about ten minutes later. I liked the soft texture of the noodles. Not mushy. As for the beef topping, maybe it was because I chose extra, so it was really abundant and filling. The ramen egg is only given half and then the other topping is nori which cannot be left behind.
For the soup, even though this is mala soup which in your mind will be spicy to burn your tongue, it's not. It's really not that spicy for my standards of spiciness. So, if you're afraid that this mala sauce will make you too spicy, just relax. That won't happen, I still added a little chili oil.
The enoki takiagenya is very crispy and delicious. Enoki is like a food that rarely fails because of its easy processing, and it can fit into the taste buds of many people including myself.
For space, there are two spaces: indoor and outdoor although the restaurant is actually not very spacious, but there are quite a lot of table and chair sets in the outside area, so diners are not too worried about not getting a table.
The lantern ornaments were already visible in the outside area because it was still daytime, so the lights weren't turned on yet, if I had come at night, it would have been beautiful.
We confirmed our respective menus then shortly after, we rushed and went back to the laundry to pack up my washed clothes.
Thus was my journey in finding RAmen accidentally. Hahaha. Thank you for reading my daily blog. See you in the next post.
Hi, I am the child of the universe, I like to read books with various genres. I was born in the city of batik but can't draw batik yet. I want to be a novelist, but my works are only short poems that are included in anthology books.

Ramen always help to have a good conversation 💕💕💕💕💕
Looks very delicious 😍😋
I haven't really tried an authentic ramen, I always had that 'instant' noodle ramen, lol. Sadly. Joffi's ramen looks good though, especially that enoki takiage. Looks so crispy. But seriously, I don't have that thing, when I don't like things, I don't buy it. It's just that, I might end up wasting it or whatsoever and I don't want that.
hi... stunning write ups and an amazing pictures. I really like the delicious varieties of food display. it's making me hungry already. well done
