Xaviera's First Day of College as a Psychology Student (BLOG #003)

Hello again, amazing Hivers! How are you? I I'm sending us a piece of my most genuine hope that we may all get our well-deserved peaceful life. I'm Xaviera and in today's blog I'm going to share with you how my first day of college went as a Psychology student.

I know that it has already been months since the journey of the new school year begun, but I can't get off my mind how fast things are going. Therefore, I have decided to appreciate how far I've come and took a few steps back to appreciate my time in life. To be honest, I really wasn't ready for college yet; not financially, not emotionally, and not mentally. But since a choice is not on my plate to eat, I have decided to just brace this new beginning and see where this path would take me if I just continue on walking. Although I wasn't ready, I can't hide the excitement to study my dream course— psychology.

First things first: I took a shower and put on my scented lotion. I didn't bought it, actually, the lotion is a gift from my tita from Masbate. The scent is beyond my ability to describe how well it fits on my sense of smell. It smells delicious, feminine, fruity, and at the same time, it smells like vanilla, so for a girly girl like me, it smells like heaven! After putting on lotion, I put on an outfit that I prepared the day before my first day of school. This was the fit that I wore:

We weren't really allowed to wear an open top so I had to put blazer on top of that, and the bag is kind of too big for me but I still love it. After putting on an outfit, I do the second thing on my routine, which is to put on make up. I was actually contemplating to wether or not I'm gonna put on some make up since my skin was breaking out, but I was just really on a mood to do so, therefore, I ended up doing a simple make up look. I'm not really good at make up but that doesn't hinder me from expressing myself.

This was what my make up looked like. I have an oily skin type and this picture is a reminder for me to always bring some face powder so that I won't look like I'm taking a shower full of oil. To be honest, during this time, I was quite actually feeling good.

During the first day of school, I actually didn't eat breakfast, but surprisingly, I survived the day despite the tiring conflict of schedule. There was also an event on the first day of school but I wasn't able to enjoy it since I went back and forth asking different people to what schedule am I supposed to follow. During lunch time, I, my partner, my friend, and the friend that I just met had lunch to one of the famous fast food chain across the globe. We went to mcdo and we ordered different meals, I had a chicken fillet and mcfloat.

After having lunch, we went to the nearest plaza, captured the moments, and had the most random conversation. When we saw the time that it was already almost 1 o'clock, we immediately went back to school. We did our responsibilities as a student and clarified which schedule is for us to follow, and finally, we got our answer. The moment we clarified our confusion, we then headed to our designated class and waited for the instructor to come. Since it was just the first day of school, class wasn't so stressful. After class, I went home and took a nap, because I deserve it.
