Today afternoon I ate octopus for the first time.
It has a fish-like taste.
At least this is what I think about it.
If my friends would not have said that it is an octopus, then I would have thought that it is some kind of fish.
One of my friends work as a cook, and he cooked this.
He knows how to prepare it properly.
What about you?
Have you tried either to cook and/or to eat octopus so far?
If yes, then what do you think about it?

Great that even after 30 years you can try something new! And if to talk about me I tried it first time when I visited my friend who lives in Vladivostok city nearly 12 years ago!
Since I arrived on Tenerife for the first time (on the spring of 2023), I tried out multiple new things.
For example Kebab and Barraquito.
Probably I will try out other new things too in the future.
I love octopus! I ate it for the first time when I was in Greece 25 years ago. I don't have many opportunities to eat it here, but when I do I enjoy it just as much now as I did the first time.

Probably I also would not have opportunities to eat octopus in my own country (in Hungary), because there is no sea/ocean around it. It is a landlocked country.

I stay away from seafood mostly. Something about squid and octopus that sort of makes my stomach turn... but that's just me. !BBH

I dont know if i would love it, kinda hate seafood, but ive had kalamari maybe 2 times ever. Little chewy, but it could be a good source of food for our body/brain

Probably I have not tried many things in the seafood category.
Mostly I ate fish so far, which is not necessarily seafood (because fish is not only in sea).

I love octopus. There are many ways to prepare it and it tastes different in every one of them. Here where I live we commonly eat it in coctels with other sea animals, like squids and other things. It is delicious.
We ate it with boiled potatoes this time.
Probably I will try it with other things too in the future.
