Today my brother saw and felt the ocean for the first time (2025.02.23)

in Daily Blog5 days ago

Today morning we walked to El Médano in the barranco, and my brother saw and felt the ocean for the first time.

He have not went into it yet, because he got cold.

He barely touched it with his hands and with his feet.

He said that the temperature of the ocean felt neutral (not cold, and not warm either).

I also touched it, and I felt the same this time (the last time I touched it felt cold at first, and it was good, as soon as I went bathing into it).

We have coats on the photos, because in the morning the temperature felt cold, but it became pleasant and warm around midday/noon.

Hopefully my brother will get better as soon as possible, and that soon he will go bathe into the ocean.

He very much likes the island.

Probably he will like bathing in the ocean too.

Oh Wao conocer el mar por primera vez, o más bien vivir experiencias por primera vez en la vida es algo muy placentero. Espero que hayan podido disfrutar de su tiempo juntos.

Oh Wao knowing the sea for the first time, or rather living experiences for the first time in life is something very pleasant. I hope you were able to enjoy your time together?

Yes.

We are from Hungary, and there is no ocean around Hungary.

We grew up together in Budapest.
We moved to the countryside in 2015.

The first time I arrived on Tenerife was in the spring of 2023. I have not visited any other country before that. So I saw and felt the ocean for the first time almost two years ago.

My brother arrived on Tenerife for the first time only three days ago. Before that he visited only one country, Slovakia, which is, similarly to Hungary, also landlocked.

You and your brother are happy people. You have the opportunity to look at the beauty of this world and not rush anywhere.

Everyone in the world have this opportunity.

Both to look at the beauty of this world, and to not rush things.

It is up to everyone what they do.

Everyone have free will.

What do you mean by "first time"? He never went to see the Ocean in his lifetime?

Which one is you?

What do you mean by "first time"? He never went to see the Ocean in his lifetime?

Yes. Because originally we are from Hungary, and there is no ocean in/around Hungary.

And other than Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain), he visited only one foreign country so far, Slovakia, which is, similarly to Hungary, also a landlocked country.

Which one is you?

I am on the right side on the first photo (the person with the eyeglasses in a yellow-blue coat).

That is amazing, by the way which country do you live? God bless you😊

We (my brother and I) were born in Budapest, Hungary.

Currently we are on Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.

I arrived on Tenerife for the first time in the spring of 2023. With smaller and bigger pauses, I live on this island since then.

My brother arrived on Tenerife for the first time on 2025.02.21.

Nowadays we both live in tents in the rocky semi-desert in a cave/tent living community on South Tenerife.

All the best.

I'm sure it's great to have your brother there with you!

Yes.

Our tents are next to each other in the rocky semi-desert, and we spend most of the day together.

Generally we very much like the island, but of course we do not like living with alcoholic and with drug addict people (the cave/tent living community).

We try to find/create a good solution.

Theoretically we already have one, but this depends on the future.

If everything will be good, then we will have a caravan in a plot with electricity and with tap water in/around October or November, or earlier.
