It's been a month since my mom's operation on her left eye, which is the application of an injection with a vitamin, which helps to delay the loss of vision in the left eye, because she was told that there was no solution for the right eye.
My mother came the day before, to go to the consultation that is in another city, for that, we must get to the terminal, take a bus and go to Puerto Ordaz.
I got up early, did my toilet and hygiene, then I prepared breakfast for us, my children's breakfast was for my daughter who had no classes, I called my mom to get dressed, get ready to leave, and we left at the same time as before, we missed the first bus that passes through my urbanization.
We waited for a while for a trolley to pass by, because waiting for the bus would make us arrive later. That was not convenient for us, because the appointment time was at 9:30 am.
The bus was already loading passengers, thank God, we would leave on time, I told my mom to get on the bus, while I made the payment.
We left, we arrived at 8:00 a.m., to Puerto Ordaz, I asked my mom if she could have breakfast, after the consultation she said yes, when we arrived at the terminal, we were going like a camera against the clock.
With everything and the few inconveniences we arrived on time for the appointment, which is not by order of arrival, but by appointment time, if the patient is not there, the next one comes in.
A few minutes later the doctor arrived, we went to the office, as we waited in the hallway, because inside is very small and where the doctor is even more, and inside began to check the eye, do the eye test to read letters, now everything is digital, not as before they were a sheet and had to read, as far as they could reach their vision.
The doctor found her very well THANK GOD, she said that the vitamin has taken effect, plus she has complied with the medicines and diet. Then seeing that the results were favorable, she said that a second injection should be done by the end of this month, when I thought that for the rest of this year, we would not go anymore, because I don't know if it is close, but it is scary.
Before leaving, I gave the doctor and the assistants some of the yarn christmas trees I had already made, as well as their publication.
Back at the terminal, we went to the dining room, the place where there are chairs and tables to eat, calmly, without hurry.
Once we finished breakfast, we went to see if there was a bus loading for Ciudad Bolivar, if there was one, at least the seats were more comfortable and reclined, my mom went up to look for a seat for both of us and me again paying the tickets.
We waited almost an hour for the departure of the bus, because until it is not full it does not leave, a great abuse, my mom gets tired, I was also sleepy, sometimes we take longer to leave somewhere, we arrived quickly, we stayed in the redoma, to take the Guaica bus, which arrived, one that I think that in less than an hour we arrived.
Each one to take a bath, rest for lunch, which my daughter did, at least she was at home.
Also that everything was favorable and positive for my mom, now just wait, request the date for the next injection to my mom and prepare for the trip.
