There are many different video platforms out there, with some of them enriched by Blockchain technology. Here’s my take on five.

Hi, the problem is with BitChute because it has now terrible infrastructure. It's important to notice that the only resultion is supported there is 360p which is completely not enough in 2021. However you did not mention another good video platform on HIVE blockchain - DTube. DTube is a bit worse choice for more of the users than 3Speak but if someone is able to host video using IPFS system on their own, then it's a quite interesting option for bigger creators. For example if you want to publish any kind of video that is accepted on IPFS. I'm gonna test it further but I think there should be even 4K or 8K supported.

Hive Tour Update - Financial stages

The crypto system on BitTube is far too fiddly. If video platforms want to integrate crypto they need to make the process as easy and friendly for users and creators alike as possible and BitTube just doesn't do that.

Also, I have to wonder what BitTube gets out of making people install their extension. On a system like 3Speak it's clear they get some of the Hive that flows through their platform which helps to fund and motivate the project, but what does BitTube get out of making you install an add-on. There has to be some reason they want people to go through all the extra hoops of installing a browser add-on instead of just integrating their crypto system more seamlessly with the website.
