Hello Great minds and goal getters, I am so excited to be here.

Gideon

I am Ani Gideon Chinonso, funny enough that name "Gideon was interchaged by my siblings to "Giveon" chuckles, I got that name as a kid just as a result of giving either snacks, Ice-cream, yoghurt e.t.c. I was just a cheerful giver. I am from Nkanu east of Enugu state in Nigeria, Western Africa.

When I was a toddler I had few challenges in taking my first ever footstep and I had difficulty in speaking fluently which we know as words stutterring known to my family as "stammering", these challenges created panic amongs my family especially of course my mum who was devastated because I was the only child among my siblings that was troubled with such challenges. My dad was compassionate enough but a bit worried, but one faithful day I withness an unforgetable event that I as a child was the victim, due to my delay in standing on my feet and taking a step which I was so scared of.

I was taken to the garden at the back of the house to a dugged ditch just maybe a feet and half in lenght and my dad placed my waist down inside the pit and covered it then brought a recorded and played my favourite kid music called "The Destiny Kid" at that moment listening to the songs I was happy and at the other hand I was terrified.

There was a cultural superstition or belief that was taught and passed down from generations that a child who delays in standing up and taking his/her footstep even with the help of kids aid (baby sitters/rollers) was to be burried half way down for the child to by self motivation and struggle pull his or her self out and take a step also by eliminating fear of falling. Guess what guys! It did work.

Immediately I heard my favourite music played I forced myself out of the ditch with excitement fully ready to dance then I took my first step and again another step that was it, I began walking, clapping staring at my dad right to his eyes and to my mum also who was completely in awe (surprised), what a joyful day that was.

Stuttering was also a challenge I had that affected me academically, the low self-esteem, shyness, lack of boldness, I would say I was afraid to speak in public gatherings and sometimes in private too. I was mocked in class, playgrounds and in place of worship basically by other kids. My parent stood by me all through and every words of encouragement was a shield against my peers who mocked me often when I tried engaging in a topic of discussion, I felt segregated and that broke me, but I never gave up,I personally praticed how to speak without stuttering day after day though it was fraustrating as a kid it was difficult to stop what you were born with not that it was a bad habit I needed to stop.

I faced my fears and gradually overcame these challenges, it made me better both psychologically and academically, I am dedicated in helping, motivating and inspiring kids that are going through similar challenges I once had. I became academically sound, I graduated with excellent grade at the high school level (primary and secondary school). The zeal, passion and hard work towards my academics made path for me to the top of my class during college (university).
First day of lectures I took a photo shot as a freshman into the university.

It was a day and a thing of joy for me.
Such hapiness was second to none this day.
Few weeks later I was elected a class representative, a boy who couldnt speak out is now a leader.

I got to know Hive through my colleague @daverick at the NYSC orientation camp in Jos. I over heard him talking on the cell phone he was guiding a friend on how to be more creative and realistic in content creation and writing, I became interested and realized I would improve my writing and verbal abilities.

My Dad
This is the man behind every success I have attained.

My dad was just an average civil worker whose monthly earnings was not enough to take care of me and my siblings especially when we got to college, he did few unpleasant jobs just to be able to raise funds that would be enough, while growing up I began to the changes I knew its time to get myself a job to take care of myself reducing the task for my parents towards my other siblings. I also did side jobs as a teenager like capentry, welding and farming.

I am 27 years of age and currently working as a secretary to the director of the ministry of land and survey in jos, plateau state.

I was employed as a secretary base on my experience in building construction and data analysing, I will always emphasize on getting a skill either a tech skill or a hand made skill rather than being ideal.

My heartflet appreciation and credit goes to my boss @ovey10 for onboarding me into HIVE class and inspring me through all learning phase which entails WEB3 a technology in form of a blockchain crypto currency and learning about-: The differences between web2 and web3 which are centralisation for the web2 (can be controlled by author) and decentralisation for web3 (full self control and authorization). I got to understand from @ovey10 and @daverick that web3 comprises of AI, robotics, blockchains these features makes its more advance than web2 and improves the system problems encountered on web2. I am happy to be engaged and a partaker of this new technology (hive). I got to understand also that there are some of the rules guiding the blockchain Hive that ought not to be violated which are NO plagiarism, No spaming, No recycling of content and No Artificial Intellegence, the usage is highly prohibited. I am grateful for the leasons and I am assuring this great community that I will stand firm by the rules.

Thank you great minds and God bless.

Seven suggestions to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
  2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Peaklock, and Hivesigner,
  3. The master password and the owner key are only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your password or keys; copy and store offline,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
  7. DO NOT OPEN any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.
