Good day, amazing people of hive blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. This is another day in the #inleomonthly prompt. I’m so happy participating in this prompt: remote work or on-site job.
As humans, it is our right to choose the one that works out for us. I may decide to work online while another person will decide to work on-site. That is what makes us human; our choices cannot be the same. That is the fact about life: the actions and decisions we take make us different.
When it comes to jobs, there are people who prefer remote jobs and there are some who enjoy onsite jobs. A remote job is working in the comfort of your space, while an onsite job is a job at a location, usually an office setting. The workers must be at the office daily to achieve a set goal.
I have experienced both before I got admission into the university. I had this remote work I was doing. It was one of my best years, the joy of working at the comfort of my home. I didn’t have to stress myself unlike my sister, who left the house early in the morning on the day of the month she received peanuts as salaries. Remote work is one work that will give you time to do other things. The flexibility of the work always gives me joy. You don’t need to stress yourself; most of the time, when you are doing remote work, you work from the comfort of your home. Remote work is one work that doesn’t involve stress and struggle. You don’t need to wake up early in the morning preparing for work; it gives you all the time you need. In the society we see ourselves in, we see people who do remote work as lazy people.
My experience as an onsite worker is that currently, I am working as an onsite worker. It gives me the opportunity to meet new people; it develops my comfort. It has really taught me how to manage people, so customers can be crazy, but meeting them every day has given me a better understanding of how to manage them. I will not lie; onsite work is very stressful. I have little or no time for myself.
My choice
Seriously, if I am to choose between remote work and onsite work, I will choose remote work over and over again. Since I started onsite work, I hardly have time for myself, but when I had remote work, I had all the time. The fact that it gives me time to do other things I really love is great. Seriously, if I had my way, I would take back the hard time to when I was doing remote work. Waking up very early in the morning and coming back late at night is something I have to deal with every day.
For me, remote work is the best. I love the flexibility of the work; it allows me to also engage in other activities. You can have up to two or three jobs once the work is remote work, but onsite you can’t work in more than one place.
Remote work is a win-win for me.
This is my entry for the ongoing #decemberinleo daily prompt.
Thank you for stopping by my blog. I really appreciate your comments, support, and upvotes. Do have a lovely day.
Merry Christmas, beautiful people of the Hive blockchain.

That's true, everyone has their choice in life. I also have preference towards remote work because of the flexibility and personal time for oneself. Nevertheless, some certain kind of jobs might necessarily demand onsite work.
