Leave Am For God

image Source They say Karma's a universal sanction that comes for everybody with a reward for the kind of energy we emit into the earth. It also states that when someone offends you, hurts you or does something utterly despicable to you, you don't need to fight back as the law of karma is bound to give em a dose of their own medicine and God in heaven will surely see it happen even going as far as allowing the punishment for such actions become generationally and so with it came the popular statement #leave am for God#. I used to rely heavily on this statement, allowing it to become part of the code I leave by so I don't take matters into my own hands and avoid any form of unnecessary conflicts but the new me does not buy into it anymore. I realized that silence does not necessarily symbolize strength rather it creates room for the offenders to cause more harm because you never reacted to the ticking time bomb right in front of you making you look weak and receptive to even worse harm. There are moments in life where the pain of wickedness is just so overwhelming that leaving it all to God is equivalent to allowing a stab wound to fester without properly treating it. I know we have all been groomed by either religion or society to allow karma to run its course but sometimes you just have to be the force of karma and justice you have been crying for so that they know not to try that bullshit again . I was on my phone a few days ago when I saw two contents that caught my attention on Facebook. The first was a video about a man who sponsored a girl from high school all through her university days going as far as donating his kidney to her when she was ill all for love which even resulted in the death of his own mother. After the girl was done with her NYSC, she came back home with someone else as her new lover screaming that she cannot marry the other guy because he's an uneducated farmer while the new guy was well established. The thing that shocked me the most was that her mother was backing her up even though the guy was also supporting the family while the girl of his dreams was in school. After dragging the matter for months and realizing he was fighting a losing battle, he ended the tussle with the usual #I leave you for God# hoping that the benevolent Father would handle it all after wasting over 10 years of his life. That will never be me.

The other one was an anonymous story about a guy who was working outside the country for greener pastures. He came back to the country briefly looking for a life partner and was attracted to a girl who just finished high school. After making inquiries about the girl's family, he made the necessary arrangements for her to become his wife, paid her dowry, and also enrolled her into a private university before going back to Canada. Everything he did before his return meant she was already his wife according to African traditions since both families were aware of their union.
While the man was working in Canada, he was sending money back home to his wife so she can build a luxurious house and establish a Business so that when he comes back to Nigeria for the last time, he already has a home and a steady source of income for his family.

Unbeknownst to him the lady he was struggling for, got married to another man in Nigeria, had two kids for him and used his money to build a house for her new family secretly. When He finally returned back to the country permanently and discovered all that had happened, he confronted the lady but she was not even remorseful of her actions even going as far as asking him "How much did you even send me in the first place that you won't allow my family know peace?" And once again this story also ended with #I leave you for God#.

Now I don't want to say exactly what I'll do if I find myself in any of these situations but one thing's for certain none of both parties is walking out this unscathed or complete. Why should I leave it all to God when you can face the repercussions of your actions immediately with the knowledge that I did it to you. I am not God so your sins I cannot forgive and like the great Ghengis Khan once said: "I am the punishment of God , if you had not committed great sins, God would not have sent a punishment like me upon you". So sorry I no fit leave am for God.
This is my entry to the prompt of the week.

I use to leave things for God before but not now, I am in era of "if you do me I do you man no go vex" I am not leaving it for any karma when I am the karma.

Thanks for this one
They say an eye for an eye makes the world go blind but I say let's go blind why should I allow you blind and go without a penalty
You need to loose both your eyes and nose as well

Nice update from you sir not everything we are going to leave for God we should also try our possible best before taking it to Our heavenly father.

Most of the things we leave up to God should be battles we fight for ourselves else we become nothing but cowards quick to surrender

💯💯 yes sir
