While I understand that in some other countries there are four seasons; autumn, spring, summer and winter, in my country we have majorly two seasons; the dry and rainy seasons. Though this time of the year suggests a third one for us; harmattan season. That will be a topic for another day. Yeah. Which then is my preferred season?

So two major seasons; dry and the rainy season. Each of these seasons is characterized by a certain quality each strongly possesses. Of course you should know that I guess. Considering the weather condition, the dry season is mostly characterized by the incessant and uncomfortable heat that preys on every living being, except maybe you fall among the elite who are fortunate to own a series of air conditioned possessions, such as houses that are well air conditioned and air conditioned cars as well. If you do not, then sorry you have to face the heat which you can just manage to bear. During this period, almost everyone would wish they could just be locked up in a freezer or refrigerator and left for the night until the morning. I guess I would wish to be Aquaman at such a time. Fans are in high level of use and consistent bathing is just the norm. What a season it is.

Then the rainy season. This one comes with all the cold it can bring, maybe from the Atlantic. During this period, almost everything done is well calculated and analysed. Laymen become weather forecasters better than a meteorologist I assure you. This is due to the fact that the rain, as the season's name suggest can pour out anytime and you might just be at a disadvantage. So then, people plan when to wash clothes, when to dry crops, when to go out on long distance movements, and when to do this or that. Time planning is at its peak in this period. Noteworthy also is that roads, pathways specifically can become almost impossible to pass through, as some regions tend to become overloaded with water such that where to step one's feet can seem impossible.
This then has brought me to reminisce on what my preferred season is. And without a shadow of doubt I knew which. The seasons maybe called dry and rainy but the characteristics is what empowers this decision. And I can spend much time telling you of how the heat of the dry season keeps me uneasy that, like I said, I would just be Aquaman I somehow wished. So you guess my preferred season is the rainy season. I believe with all the cold it can bring, I can try and control it with my cold cover clothes and blankets which tends to create me a soothing temperature even.
