A Quick visit to WOWYEN RIVER SIDE around 20 June we went for a wedding in my own dear village WOWYEN/GADA BIYU it was my beloved aunty getting married to a KoRo man..
it was a joyful ride to that place seeing it was a family wedding all the relatives came from far and near just to feast and celebrate with them....
As a man of people I was able to draw few of my friends to come along with me to add to the excitement....
it was a normal Eggon wedding where pigs, Beans, goat, chicken, etc are the order of the day....to marry Eggon ladies no be easy task for this life at all...
elders checking list to confirm the dowry and all the preparation taking place one after another to see the success of this wedding and excitement of everyone
....wait that's not why we are here let's talk about the RIVER SIDE 😋😋
As the young guys of the family we had little to nothing to do most of the time so me and my guys decide to visit one of the rivers in WOWYEN for fun hangouts.....
it is a water side of the village normally called NZUU (river) as you can see in the picture the water is brownish in colour because it was a rainy season....most water turns brown because of the flow.....
The river has it water source from wamba river call Farrin Ruwa and it flows down to Uju and lille and the rest of the villages...
As a usual visitor I immediately pull my clothes and jump into the water swimming to my heart delight...well some of my friends are still wondering outside and being afraid of the water....
The are still wondering how a fat guy like me can swim but as a normal village boy I learn how to swim since small boy....
It was not a wonderful experience sha when learning because I was force into the water left to die I had to force myself to swim to the shore in other to save my life I wasn't happy about it and was really angry with those guys what if I had die but the beautiful part of it is that I learnt how to swim and gain confident over the water.....
We really enjoyed ourselves and took fun pictures though one of our guy was so afraid of the water that he refused to even come close even to enter the water became an issue we eventually used him as a photographer and a videographer at the spot......
The wedding was a success and all families left happily at the end of everything me and my friends came back home jejely....
Up to date the are still on my head about going back to the village just because of the WOWYEN RIVER SIDE for a fun hangout......

This sight of the stream just made me smile, during every holiday period I do visit the village for the experience and I am type that like viewing nature.

I think I'll enroll for swimming lessons so I can learn how to swim. That has been one of my agenda, to learn how to swim but always one excuse or the other comes up aborting my plans..
You guys sure had a good time. I know the feel is different when you're swimming in such open places than the regular swimming pool
