My Hive Road Map, 2025

in Hive Reachoutlast month

One of the things I love about the first month of the year is that it comes with hope. It brings fresh energy to everyone. Even those who felt like losers in the previous year believe that they can catch up and in that regard, they come up with goals hoping to help them navigate.

Last year was full of experiences, it was a year I would love to tag "The eye opener." As much as I didn't live upto my expectations, I can't say that I caught nothing valuable from it.

Most people hate failure, they feel like it's a bad omen, I used to think so too but that belief is not entirely true. Sometimes, failure is what shapes us for success. I wouldn't have learnt and have some of the knowledge that is already helping push my dreams this year, if I had not encountered failure in the previous year.

I may probably be stuck in procrastination, indolence and moving without a defined direction like I did in the past and ended up with terrible results.

Am I saying all this because I love failure? No! I bet no one does, and same with me. I am just trying to make us understand that failure is not a dead end.

It has enormous disadvantages yet, it can also be used as fuel to pilot us into success if we embrace it the right way.

Last year, I couldn't achieve much on Hive Blockchain due to a lot of offline and other online activities. I was so engaged that it got to a point where I barely make three posts per week.

My activities on Hive came crashing, I dropped in almost everything and that wasn't what ails me the most, I had to also power down to address certain needs. It was such a painful moment but I had no option.

Each time I remember the days I came on board newly, I see how lazy I have become lately. Hive for me is not just a place to earn, it's a home and a school.

I think I have slept so much, now it's time to arise and take responsibility both as a student and as a part of the family in contributing positively towards the growth of the blockchain. In that regard, I will be looking forward to achieving the following goals.

1 . 1,000 Hive Power : by the end of the year, I want to accumulate at least 1,000 HP but I will pursue this goal in two phases. By June, I am expecting to accumulate at least 500 HP and then by December another 500 HP.

In view of that, I plan to write one post everyday, and anyday I have the opportunity to write two, I won't hesitate to seize it.

2 . Boost my followers to 390: the number of my followers on the chain isn't encouraging at all. It indicates one thing, and that is the fact that my engagement level is poor.

The more we engage, the more we get followers. I can remember how I made friends through engagement on Hive who turned out to be brothers and came through for me in the days of need and even to date.

It's one thing to have a pretty content, it's another to have a family to appreciate it by motivating it. Most people only care about what they earned on their post, I, on the other hand, care about what people say after reading my content and then the reward.

That is how one becomes better, when you get constructive criticism from people, it spur you to become better.

To achieve this goal, I want to double my effort on engagement in different niches. I currently have 190 followers, I want to make not less than 200 followers extra before the year runs out.

3 . Invest in layer 2 token : I understood recently that investing in layer 2 tokens is another way of earning low key on Hive Blockchain. So I want to try it out.

I would use part of my earnings on Hive to purchase some of the tokens I know through research to have great potentials of yielding and then see what the future holds.

These are only a few of my many goals. I hope I achieve them as planned. I wish you all the best in the year. Pursue your goals and don't give up in the process.

Thanks For Reading

I'm buying into this too. I'm new to this wonderful family and I've been wondering how this can work but I think I've gotten my motivation now through your post 🙌

I am glad that this answered some of your questions. I wish you the best in your blogging journey

Your goals are impressive and very reflective of the things you discovered you missed out. And yeah, engagement is really necessary, something I have come to realise in my small time here and it's something I desire to pursue as well.

We hope to achieve our goals this year sir.
