SOCIAL MEDIA :it is a place or a community where we individuals communicate and socialize with people from different parts of ethnicity in the world.

Mental health:
This is all about how a human being think and it concerns our emotional, psychologically and mental well-being.
Our mental health sometimes influences our daily activity and also our relationship together with our engagement with things and how we feel and react back to it. Mental health is a thing of the mind because we do not see it with our eyes neither do we touch it with our hands. It place a very crucial role in our well being as individuals.
Social media have so many benefits in our lives as individuals but it has many impact in our mental health
It has both negative and positive impact and it depends on the one that hits you and this is not what you man-over no it is not is either it is having a positive effects on you or a negative effects.

NEGATIVE IMPACT OF SOCIAL MEDIA ON MENTAL HEALTH:
Here in negative impact it has to do with where it affects the individual negatively. Here are some of the negative impact:
It includes the following:
• Individuals sometimes get addicted to it and this make it as an abuse and it affects our metal well-being example when some one is cooking all of a sudden he or she logs into his or her social media account maybe to watch video or chat due to addiction he will leave the food he or she is cooking and start pressing phone from there the food might got burnt and she will be starved at that moment and by so doing it will affects the persons mental health emotionally whereby he or she will start complaining or even cry at that moment.

• Social media has deprived so many people from sleep thereby causing insomnia( lack of sleep) like some sleeping late at night and not sleeping or having rest in a 24 hours of a day affects a human being both psychologically, physically and emotionally.
Psychologically there will be having a shallow thinking.
Physically there will be muscle loss where the person will be sliming down do to no sleeping when due.
• This social media can so make us to have a low self esteem where by when you always interact in social media sometimes you find it difficult to talk to people face to face probably the person might be shy because of no physical socialization.
• Another dangerous aspect of this is addiction this has cause quarrel in homes and also between our friends,even it has broken some relationships.
• Some times in social media there is more of fake news and fake live ,this has made some not to believe in what the can do due to the go on believing in what the see online.

POSITIVE IMPACT OF SOCIAL MEDIA MEDIA ON MENTAL HEALTH:
Social media have so many benefits and these is as follows.
• It helps us to socialize with so many people all over the world there by bringing them together as one in a community such as eg Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, discord, TikTok YouTube. With the it helps to improve our mental well-being.
• It creates search engine like chrome, google opera mini and other search engine which has help to reduce the work of our brain in search of so many things.
• Through social media one can also build his or her social life in such a way that the person will be very outspoken without been shy when speaking with people or crowd.
• Through social media there can be awareness also about things that can cause mental disorder on social platforms. It also allow us to express ourselves to others.

In conclusion, through social media we learn many things that really impact much on our mental health and these include self-care, how to coupe with others despite their level of understanding.
