EFFECT OF FORGETFULNESS

in Hive Reachout15 days ago

Hello and welcome to my blog as I share with you my thoughts on the topic "Effect of forgetfulness" Because I'm actually a victim of forgetfulness.

As people grow older, changes occur in all parts of the body, including the brain. As a result, some people notice that they don’t remember information as well as they once did and aren’t able to recall it as quickly. They may also occasionally misplace things or forget to pay a bill. These usually are signs of mild forgetfulness, not a serious memory problem.
It’s normal to forget things once in a while at any age, but serious memory problems make it hard to do everyday things such as driving, using the phone, and finding the way home.

Drinking too much alcohol can interfere with short-term memory, even after the effects of alcohol have worn off. Although "too much" varies from person to person, it’s best to stick with the recommendation of no more than two drinks per day for men and no more than one a day for women.
Anything that makes it harder to concentrate and lock in new information and skills can lead to memory problems. Stress and anxiety fill the bill. Both can interfere with attention and block the formation of new memories or the retrieval of old ones. I'm a strong victim of forgetfulness and this is also something I need to work on, why did I say so? I do drink alcohol most especially this days I drink palm wine much. you have to believe me that it's normal forgetting many stuffs while growing older I have been in a situation where i don't even remember some of my primary school mate talk more of some play that we did from childhood, it's actually very difficult to recall some of the things that happened back then. Let me give you a short story what alcohol did to me I was invited to a film Auditioning which I love being part of everytime i heard such calls. I was given the day and time for the audition I was excited so I get prepared on the day and move to the location reaching there I met with people we study together both my mate and my juniors wow it was amazing I was very happy. We had fun even with the new faces I'm just seeing for the first time, I waited for my to to be audition and then I was auditioned and I was very happy boom rain started falling and no means to go home. One of my friend then suggested the best option is to go to a nearby shop and drink and have fun until the rain stops. Wow that was actually a wrong idea but as of that moment it was a great one for all of us, we went and started drinking and having fun until the rain stops I was doing everything that feels normal but I was not actually normal I managed to look for a way home, reaching home I started sleeping until evening. I woke up only for me to find out my phone was missing I started crying how would I misplaced my phone when I already went for an auditioning how will i get feedback when I almost feel my dream is already coming true as an actor.

Suddenly my mother ask what's wrong I now told her I lost my phone she started laughing but deep down she was angry with how I behaved when I came home earlier. She questioned and querell me afterwards she handed me my phone, I was very happy and I ask how come she said I was the one that gave her the phone myself. So why am I given you this story? I want us to understand that alcohol is also a major effect of forgetfulness you can see that I gave her the phone but I was later crying seriously that I misplaced my phone lol 😂 there are many stories to tell let me me just leave this one and I hope you reading this will reduce the intake of alcohol as you read my story and you understand that it's an effect that Also lead to forgetfulness. Thank you for your time

This post really hit deep! 😢 Forgetfulness is something many of us struggle with, and your story perfectly shows how it can affect our daily lives. It’s scary how alcohol can make things even worse, making us forget important moments and causing unnecessary stress. 😔 That moment when you thought you lost your phone, only to realize you had given it to your mom wow! 😳 I can imagine the panic and frustration you felt. This is a wake-up call to be more mindful of our habits. Thank you for sharing this emotional and eye-opening experience! 🙏💙

Forgetfulness is one thing human can't do without but when it becomes a daily routine, it kills beyond living again coz it will attract a lot of lust..... Nice write up boss

Forgetfulness is actually part of human, as long as your brain function sand work!
I do believe stress causes it! Is not memories lost just as you said, we are allowed to act foolish at times, but don't get me wrong!

Most times Forgetfulness tends to make us experience things the hard way, it is inevitable actually but it still can be reduced to a minimal... Disciple and couscousness is paramount. Thank you for sharing this sir
