I do see somethings now how they are been done presently and i will just have that flash memories of how my childhood went starting from the very scratch and i will be talking about all in the post because the initiative for this week is talking about the best childhood memories but to me i have a lot of memories i will love to share them all, One of the thing i know is that no matter how the situation can be sometimes one will definitely want to go back to those days and do what they have done for a long period of time that is why you will see some elderly people doing some children play along side with their kids not that they are young but they just missed those period when they were kids.
So the first one which i will love to say is those period when i was in my primary school days and there is this period after the session of the school which to some is holidays but to others is the moment where they prepare for the new session that is for those going to the next stage of class and it is called holiday coaching, no uniform is required for the period compared to the normal school period and what we always do is that we will leave home very early in the morning with some other children and those period the school is always yet to be opened and what we always do is that we will pass under the gate which d not have enough space and we will still look for a way to pass through and Guess what!!!
We are heading to the playing ground where we have a lot of toys and things we can play with which some of them are swing and roller coaster and this is where we will be and anytime we notice that the gate has been opened, everyone inside will jump over the fence and now pass the back side then go as if we are just coming to school again then pass through the main gate as if we never did anything, so any time we are in holiday coaching, there is this joy in the heart that we will surely enjoy ourselves.
Back to myself then i remember when i was 11 years old then and our house is yet to be completed having some space in the roof, then we always play this game which is hide and seek among ourselves and this fateful day, i wanted to hide from them so they wont even see me at all when they are looking for others and i will be the champion, so i went into the roof and i was hiding there but all of a sudden my leg mistakenly step on the slate and the next thing i knew was that i foundf myself down in my roof and i realised that i have broken the room slate so looking for a way out before my parent come back from work i already got some dirty slap from my brother and i they quickly help me look for the solution.
When my parent came back they saw it and asked who did it and i could not talk but my brother and his friend covered for me and said some guys in the neighbourhood were throwing stone at themselves because they were fighting and the stone broke the slate here, he believed but i got injured and i could not tell them because they will definitely know that i was responsible so pretending to be alright anytime i walk pass them i had to force myself and work very well so as not to get noticed that i am injured till everything healed.
Those days inside the rain where we enjoy playing there and riding tires in the street then, the worst part of it is the football, one of the funniest thing that happened was when i played a shot and it broke glass of another person but we all ran away and to me we thought we have escaped not for me to see some people in our house in the evening and they said i was the one i got the beating of my life then but those moment were interesting and cant be forgotten. The cartoon aspect, i still remember almost all the cartoon i have watched then and how interesting and entertaining they are, early in the morning around 5am we would have tuned to STV, MITV to watch cartoon those are the things that made our childhood fun and very nice we did a lot of risky fun compared to the kids of this generation.
I so much love this initiative and it is fun talking about it, see you all again next time.
