The mind, not to be confused with the brain, is an eternal, boundless force that connects our physical world to the unseen. In fact, the mind is what creates our entire physical experience. It is “all powerful”, only 2nd to the supreme, collective mind of the Creator, or “the All”. It may even be what connects us to that Supreme Deity.
I am in agreement with the segment that sees the brain as an interpreter of the mind, and a processor of our physical experience.
For instance, the brain interprets signals from the mind, like thoughts and intentions and translates them to actions via neural pathways. At the same time, the brain is processing input from our external experience. The fact that we can choose how we process our external experiences is a superpower in its own. Mind over matter.
Of course, we can always go back to the principle of duality for more clarity. Let's look at the wave (-) and the particle (+). While the brain appears as a localized instrument (particle) focused on processing stimuli, the mind flows through the ethers like an invisible current (wave), transcending any spatial limitations. It is boundless. It is the seat of our faith, inspiration, and some even say the soul.

This is why everything starts with the mind. The mind forges the print that is impressed on the film, the brain acts as the projector, and our manifested reality is the movie playing on the big screen. In other words, how we process internal and external stimuli is what determines the genre of the movie. From there, the genre of the movie i.e., how we internalize our life experience (good, bad, unlucky, fortunate, etc.), creates a feedback loop that starts to make impressions on the next roll of film.
Reality is a projection of your thoughts or the things you habitually think about.
Stephen Richards
There is a reason that being considered a "great mind" is one of the highest expressions of praise in our reality. The "great mind" has accepted both the gifts and responsibilities that come along with the functions of the mind. We are not just observers, but creators. In a sense, we observe as we create and create as we observe.
Understanding this cycle is where the true power of the mind lies. We can see why great minds come from diverse backgrounds, and in many cases, unfavorable ones.
The brain can be imprisoned. The mind, however, can not be bound by physical circumstances, unless the elephant doesn't realize it can break the rope.
