There is a difference between music and noise, some people who don't have the concept of music and don't want disturbance in regard to sounds takes music to be noise to their ears. Music is a beautiful creation of art that invokes emotions thereby inspiring creativity, leading to the expression of ideas through lyrical sounds that are pleasing to the ears, by means of using just voice or instruments such as drums, trumpet, saxophone, piano, violin and alot of different instruments.
Music can be composed in different ways and different means, even by hitting a cup with a spoon, or hitting a table with your hands in a rhythmic pattern can be considered a creation of music.
To me music gives me an extraordinary feeling, so peaceful and soothing to my soul giving me a deep sense of belonging, sometimes it can serve as therapy to me or a means of giving me energy when am working. It is a melody capable of drifting me away to other dimensions at certain times serving as a comfort to the mind, beautiful enough to make me get lost and deeply immersed in time.
The choice of music capable of serving as a peaceful comfort to the mind is dependent on the listener and the genre of music.
Let me tell you a story, I was born into a Christian family where my parents so dedicated in the things of God always ensures that we engage ourselves in different church activities and join church groups to help boost our commitment to God and participation in the church, as a result of that I joined the Boys Brigade of my church where I learnt how to play drums and this ignited my passion and joy for drums and music in a general note, which also lead me to join the church band at some stage and play on sunday services. I love to play the snare drum alot and decided to work hard to be the best which gave me the opportunity to play on most of our parade both within the church or when we were invited, giving me more opportunity to showcase how good I am prompting my superiors to recommend me for promotion in rank and also to recommend me to others whenever they were asked to recommend someone good enough for joint rehearsals for major occasions.
Going forward, when I was serving my country in the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) program I was granted the privilege and honour of training others on how to play the snare drum but this happened only because they saw how good and dedicated I was.
I was able to train 4 batch of corp members with each batch having a unique sense and approach to learning, adapting and contributing to the joy of the camp, though at times we had to rehearse alot of times for others to catch up while there are those that already have experience with playing different instruments making things more easy.
There was a time when we were invited to the camp to train corp members interested in playing drums so that they can be good enough before the camp closes and also help them understand the basics of music and also learn the solfas notations for each beat and music to be played, on the second day of the camp we the instructors were asked to join the parade so the the corp members will be able to adjust their marching with the beats we play for them so we joined the parade and played for them,
but immediately after the parade ended without persuasion from us, a large group of corp members were waiting for us already with the intention of joining the band, alot of them complimented us saying what we played seems impossible for them to replicate but we gave them the assurance that its not impossible as long as they are ready to learn and are dedicated.
During the 3 weeks orientation camp things went well and alot of them played with passion and enthusiasm with eagerness to learn and represent when been called upon, and we the instructors also decided to compose a beat/music that can be played for salutations and we called it "Banana" and when we played it for the Corp members they were thrilled and excited to learn it because it sounded like a vibe to them learning something new out of the scheduled beats we were to teach them.
My experience during the programme was nothing short of magnificent because I also got to enjoy myself by meeting different people from different part of the country with different vibes to music, the creation of new musics, adaptability, creativity and learning from each other was made more easy and beautiful.
This is just a little of my experience when it comes to music because I have a whole lot of them in different places. The sense of passion, joy, happiness, and peace I get when I play, make music or listen to music is something I hope you guys will experience also and enjoy yourself.

In all my years of living, I've never heard anybody say music is noise. I have, however, met people who don't like a genre of music, and will turn of whatever set the music is playing on. This leads me to believe that music was playing in the background when God was creating us. It is why they say "music is a universal language."
I have encountered quite some people who disregard music regardless of how it sounds insisting that it is a disturbance to them

I can totally relate. Truly, music is a beautiful creation of art. Although, there are some that I hear these days that seem like pretty much noise me. When it becomes a greater noise is when I am trying to sleep and it's playing out. But we have a good number of them that are soul satisfactory. Peace ✌️✌️
