How I Manage Angry

It's a pleasure to be here again. I am always very excited to be here.

Anger is an emotion shown when a person is provoked. Anger is an effect caused by something provocative. Nobody can just stay and become angry if there was nothing wrong. So it is that feeling you have whenever something goes wrong.

People react differently when they are angry depending on their traits and how they are being informed. So your level of information determines the way you react to things. So if you are not really informed about life, then whenever you are angry, you will be reacting with immaturity.

When I was a child, I was always reacting with a fight anytime I was angry. I would always fight and be wounded and also get wounded too. I never knew that anger could be managed till it goes now. There were times I was always sent back home because I was a bully. I was just bad at reacting when I was angry; my mum would always tell me to control it so that I would grow into a good youth and a good adult too. There were times I would always bully my siblings and make them feel so bad about me because I felt I just needed to be in my space and be happy with myself.

As I grew older, I understood life differently, and I worked towards making my life better and also having a good relationship with my siblings. It was not really easy to adjust because there were times I needed to walk out on people because I did not want to react and bully people. There were times I needed to cry because I did not want to react based on how I was feeling at that moment. The thought of who I was and who I wanted to be used to haunt me and make me feel bad about myself. I understood that life was not just about me, that I needed to carry other people along, and also know that I needed people to grow in my life.

What I do when I am angry is that I try as much as possible to remind myself of who I was then, how I could carry other people along, and how bad that can cause me, and stay calm. There are times I will have to just laugh and move on. I am very happy about the life I am living now because it has made me build capacity to manage people and also mould them to be better people and also help them manage their anger level. I love the fact that people can actually complain to and seek my advice on things.

I know that there are so many opportunities for me to change people's mentality and help them be better people, as this would also make the society a better place too.

Back then when I get angry I don't eat, I will go the whole day hungry until I am off the mood. Such a foolish mindset, how does not eating solves my problem? 🤣🤣
