Good day everyone welcome to another week of the weekly prompt.
Growing up as a kid is a stage process for everyone in life. We all act childish while we are teenagers, but the moment shared with childhood friends was very fun. Indeed when you turn back to look at your throwback it is kinda funny about some things you did while growing up. Mine I will begin with “Toothpaste”!
How old were you when you knew that Toothpaste is meant for brushing teeth! And not leeky?
While growing up I stayed with my auntie mostly. I could recall when my auntie Toothpaste couldn't last a week because of me. She couldn't just send me a message without me being sneaky to her Toothpaste!
It tastes sweet to me that I can't go a day without it. Especially the red colour paste made of jelly or mint flavour.
My auntie knew it all along but couldn't just figure out how.
She couldn't just ask me but instead spy on me!
This very one actually got me, I could recall when my mum bought me an inner wear(pant) for kids then. When I put it on I don't wear any dress on it. I will visit all friends to show them my new panties!😂
They were like! Wow, it's nice . Can I take a look at it once more?
I now got them worried now, they wouldn't sleep tonight instead thinking about my new panties. The next thing is to pressure their parents they want the same. Those are our best moments having fun, we will round the whole community showing up our new panties!
How old were you when you knew a rubber can be melted by fire?

It was a fateful Saturday morning, my sister prepared a white yam and served everyone their dishes, but I wasn't home! out with friends having fun. I was hungry. I rushed home to eat, I picked up my dish and realised it was white yam with red oil. Yummy, yummy😋
The red oil is cold and kind of steaming, I needed it more liquid, so I rushed to the kitchen to worm it. But very unfortunate, my dish served was plastic rubber!
My kitchen was a local kitchen, we were using a jambstone.
The fire set earlier couldn't go off all, so I reset it and placed my oil dish. The oil was tasteless. I needed more salt, I rushed in to get salt, but guess what. Very unfortunate within half a minute….! You know the rest!
I became pissed up.
How old were you when you stopped shouting and jumping whenever you saw an “Airplane”?
I thought it's only kids that pipped through the window to watch an airplane pass, not until one fateful day while receiving lessons in class, then all of a sudden we heard an airplane sound, both the teacher and students were struggling to pip through the window just to see an Aeroplane.
But today seems childish, whenever I recall, I smiled, glanced and looked away. I will be glad to hear from you.

Allot of silly things we did in the past. I can relate to some of them specially the planes but not any longer because maturity and exposure have taught us so many things more to life..
