So, I just made a random post on my WhatsApp status where I gave an open space for anyone to give me a topic to write since I'm a writer and it's something I love to do.
A lot of persons gave me topics which I would love to share one of it with you guys today. Trust me, you will love it.
Okay, so the topic is "THE SATISFYING LAZY GENERATION" Interesting yeah,āŗļøāŗļø

THE SATISFYING LAZY GENERATION
When I saw this topic, I was amazed, and begin to ponder on what it really means, or the message it might pass on to a generation as this.
You know, we live in a world where convenience is king and a Master. With just a few clicks, food is delivered to your doorstep, knowledge is at our fingertips, entertainment is always available and life seems to be so easy and fun.
While technology and the internet has made life easier, it has also created a culture and a form of instant gratification, satisfaction, and laziness to stupor. Many today desire success without hard work, rewards without labour, and blessings without obedience.
This has given birth to a generation called The Satisfying Lazy Generationāa generation that follow after comfort over commitment and pleasure over purpose.
A lot people have this believe that an easy, struggle-free life is the key to happiness, forgetting that happiness last only a while and the truth is, laziness never leads to true satisfaction. Rather, it creates a false sense of fulfillment, temporary comfort with a higher chances of fading away, and leaves people unfulfilled, unmotivated, and stagnant.
Laziness is more than just avoiding hard work; it affects every area of one's life:
Spiritually, It causes men not to seek God diligently but prefer quick, feel-good religion. Remember God admonishes us to āseek first his kingdomā
Again, Instead of critical thinking and growth, lots of individuals prefer shortcuts, avoiding deep learning and wisdom.
Our Relationships also suffers because people choose convenience over commitment, not putting efforts in friendships, marriage, and family, thereby causing distrust, divorce and enmity.
Lastly, being lazy won't sort out your bills, anyone who must eat, must first work. Refusing to work hard and build your finances will cause you to crumble, being unable to pay for your basic needs talk more being wealthy.
Hey my fellow Hivers, God designed work as a blessing, not a curse. He's concerned with you and I, maximizing our God given potentials and make it productive. Not just for you, but for the generation to come.
However, I got a goodnews for you before I drop my pen because this pices wouldn't be complete without me saying this.
Let me enlighten you a little on how to escape being part of a lazy generation:
Firstly, Develop a strong work ethic ā Be principled and deligent in everything, be it studies, work, relationships, or ministry.
Secondly, Embrace discipline ā Bend yourself to work. Success requires consistent effort and commitment even when itās uncomfortable.
Thirdly, Seek God wholeheartedly ā Let it show that you met with that God you pay allegiance to. Donāt settle for a shallow spiritual life. Be purpose driven and strive to fulfill your days on Earth, live each day at a time and make it count.
And lastly, Take responsibility ā Stop creating excuses and start taking action.
The world needs people of vision, action, and faithāthose who will rise above complacency and comforts, those who will be challenged to live with purpose, Instead of settling for an easy but meaningless life that have no worth.
Be reminded to work hard, serve God, and make a lasting impact on this generation and beyond.
In conclusion, A lazy generation may find temporary comfort and happiness, but true satisfaction and fulfilment, comes from fulfilling Godās purpose through diligence, discipline, and dedication.

I can't agree less, I've seen the gross desires for wealth and riches amongst youth that are doing nothing to achieve it, they've got high expectations but don't want to follow the process towards achieving those things.
Many are yet to define purpose for their lives and that's the stem point of their poor mindsets, I hope they don't learn the hard way..

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU ABOUT WORK BEING DESIGNED AS A BLESSING AND NOT A CURSE. WORK IS SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE EMBRACED AND NOT AVOIDED. NOTHING VALUABLE IS ACHIEVED OUT OF LAZINESS. THANKS FOR SHARING.
This is one of the enemies I vowed to combat with this year as it deprived me of a lot of this in the previous years. It's only through work and pressure that our contents and potentials are being extracted. There's no honor in laziness and therefore it shouldn't be entertained.

Rightly said. A lot of people think that what we get easily will bring happiness. Like they need everything to be catered.
