Why didn't you go with the current instead? I can see that it was worth it, but it would be more fun to just enjoy the ride :) ?

Coral reefs usually take 50 years to go back to its former state. What we have in Moalboal might not probably go back to its original form.
If we went with the current instead, we would be drifting away from the corals and would end up on the deeper part of the sea.
