Hello Everyone.
This is my first post on the Architecture+Design Community. I am very happy to be able to share experiences with people who love architecture even though I am not an architectural expert or who understands the concept of a building. but I like it.
Of course, any country that has a Muslim population is very easy to find mosques. The mosque is a facility that is not just a place of worship. but the mosque also serves as a place of reflection for all. Such as discussing issues and also as a place to learn and teach. Mosques play an important role in creating character and cultural identity for Muslims. So the mosque has many functions.
Mosque Raya Pase
This building was founded around 1972 and is located in northern Aceh. Until now, the building does not look perfect and there are still some parts of the walls that are not ready. This Mosque Every day there are always many visitors besides people who want to perform worship. And this place also often held weddings. The area of this mosque complex is approximately 1,404 meters wide so that visitors who have vehicles can park comfortably. On the outside of this mosque, there are some beautiful ornaments and 16 tall minarets, so in the distance, we can see the tower.
I am very impressed with the building because this mosque is a place that is always visited by many people. Two days ago I came to the mosque because I wanted to see firsthand the shape of the ornaments on the walls and also wanted to know the style of the building. When I was inside the mosque it seemed very attractive and beautiful. Each pole has several unique and elegant ornaments.
Indoors
Before entering the room, of course, we have to go through an iron door that is colored like gold and decorated with floral motifs and in the middle of the door, there is a calligraphic ornament. When you are in the mosque room, you can see that each pillar has a series of ornaments plated with gold paint so that it looks very beautiful. In the center of the room is a large dome and has beautiful calligraphic carvings. In the dome there is a window that serves to let light into the room. And in the middle of the dome hung a decorative lamp so that the lamp at night can be used as light. The walls also have ornaments like flowers made of cement and almost all walls have special ornaments. This mosque has two levels, but at the moment the building above cannot be used because it is still under renovation. So the stairs connected to the building above are temporarily closed.
Outdoors
In the courtyard of this mosque, there is a very large parking lot and to the left of the mosque, there is also a building that has a turquoise green dome. The place is usually used at a certain time. The outer wall is painted white so it gives a very clean impression. This mosque has 16 minarets and each tower is covered in gold paint. In the front yard, there is a gate and in the middle of the road to the mosque there is a flower garden made of cement. To enter the depth of the mosque, we have to step on 8 black stairs.
