Here we are again showcasing our weekly curation of celebrated posts from the Architecture+Design community as we gladly continue elevating architecture and design with the Hive social blockchain to the world.
We are your dedicated community covering digital content about Architecture, Interior Design, Furniture Design, Urban Design, and Environmental Design.
In today's report, we're truly delighted to present to you our 42nd Edition where our top-featured publications highlight a spectacular cathedral in Argentina, a scaled model project about vernacular architecture in the Philippines, and restoration work of a cultural museum in Venezuela.

I will mention a little about the history and architecture of this historic building through the years and two centuries, how it has been changing styles and what form it has taken with the passing of time. The idea of founding this cathedral comes from the 1500's but it was not until the XVII century between 1750 and 1790 that its definitive construction began to take shape, in the same way it was built in two parts, the first one mentioned before and the second one for the following century between 1800 and 1850 approximately.

Bahay Kubo is an icon of Philippine Culture. It is characterized by the materials used to build it such as Bamboo, Wood, Cogon Grass, Coconut Leaves, and Buri/Buli Palm. I started building the Bahay Kubo a day after I finished the bamboo bed. I also indicated the days (as stages) in building the Bahay Kubo.

On my way to work I pass through the historic center and I have observed that restoration work is being carried out in the Museum of Barquisimeto. With respect to its architecture it is of neoclassical style. This is because its design was made by a German architect who introduced his European culture to the Venezuelan precinct. The main features are its arches, columns, domes and large sizes.

There were some absolutely fantastic articles this week. My fav was the bamboo traditional home. It really looked like a fun project to work on with children to teach them the basics of engineering and design.
Everything was beautiful this week though, fantastic.
