Saludos Apreciados amigos Amantes de la Arquitectura y el Diseño, para mi es un placer estar nuevamente con ustesdes a traves de esta grandiosa plataforma y sobre todo la mejor comunidad de #Hive la cual es Arquitectura y Diseño, en esta oportunidad visite una iglesia muy hermosa ubicada en la capital del estado Aragua, Maracay conocida por todos como la Ciudad Jardin de Venezuela.
I find it amazing to be able to observe how much architecture we can find in Catholic churches, luckily and this opportunity I found this open church, It is called the Cathedral of San Jose and they also call it the Cathedral of Maracay, it is an attractive space at first glance that invites you to have that approach to the catholic faith
me resulta maravilloso poder observar cuanta arquitectura podemos encontrar en las iglesias católicas, por suerte e esta oportunidad encontre esta iglesia abierta, Lleva por nombre catedral de san Jose y tambien le dicen catedral de maracay, es un espacio atractivo a simple vista que invita a tener ese acercamiento a la fe católica
Its construction dates from the year 1701, of course, over time it has been transformed and improved architecturally, it looks impressive from any angle of its external part, the design of its front part shows an imperial aspect in sight, personally I like it a lot this type of finish with these designs on its edges give it a touch of elegance
Su construcción data del año 1701, claro que con el tiempo gue transformada y mejorada arquitectonicamente, se ve imponente desde cualquier angulo de su parte esterna, el diseño de su parte delantera muestra como un aspecto imperial a la vista, en lo personal me gusta muchísimo este tipo de acabados con estos diseños en sus bordes le dan un toque de elegancia
It has a beautiful clock at one of its ends in the front part of one of its towers, but more about the clock is the way it is found and the design that this part of the church has, in general, all Catholic churches have a clock , and this curiosity arose to me of wanting to know the reason for this question! It turns out that I asked a believer who was passing through the place and he told me that having a clock was necessary because the priests would know when mass begins and ends, and why do you believe or think that Catholic churches have a clock? Later, after admiring for some time this beautiful work from its exterior, I proceeded to enter its interior to continue dazzling me with so much architectural beauty.
posee a uno de sus extremos en la parte frontal en una de sus torres un hermoso reloj, pero mas haya del reloj es la manera de como se encuentra y el diseño que posee esta parte de la iglesia por lo general todas las iglesias católicas poseen reloj, y me surge esta curiosidad de querer saber el por que de esta interrogante! resulta que le pregunte a un creyente que transitaba por el lugar y me manifesto que tener reloj era necesario pues asi los sacerdotes sabrán cuando inicia y termina la misa, y ustedes porque creen o piensan que las iglesias católicas poseen reloj? consideran acertado la respuesta de este creyente? posteriormente luego de admirar por cierto tiempo esta hermosa obra desde su parte exterior procedi a ingresar a su parte interior para seguir deslumbrando con tanta belleza arquitectónica
its internal part was as it was supposed from the beginning, extremely wide and with numerous benches, in the place they were doing some maintenance work on the place as well as applying paint on the internal part, it seems good to me that they eventually do this type of actions in the church since this ensures its permanence in time and a suitable place so that all these faithful believers of the Christian faith have a suitable place where through masses or any other religious activity they have that proximity and above all the appropriateness of the place, from my point of view in the first place it seemed impeccable, I like how its columns are located in the internal part and the design they have gives it an adequate aesthetic for the place
su parte interna era tal cual la supongo desde un principio, sumamente amplia y con numerosos bancas, en el lugar se encontraban realizando algunas labores de mantenimiento del lugar asi como aplicación de pintura en la parte interna, me parece bien que hagan eventualmente este tipo de acciones en la iglesia ya que con esto se asegura su permanencia en el tiempo y un lugar adecuado para que todas estas personas fiel creyentes de la fe cristiana tengan un lugar adecuado donde a través de misas o cualquier otra actividad religiosa tengan esa proximidad y sobre todo lo adecuado del lugar, desde mi punto de vista en primer lugar me parece impecable, me gusta como estan ubicadas sus columnas en la parte interna y el diseño que poseen le da una estética adecuada para el lugar

Such a humble looking church dear friend @armasdiaze. Regardless of its simplicity, it's still a religious monument with historical significance, reminding the locals of their cultural heritage and architectural legacy. I love those series of archways as well inside the interior. They provide interesting design accents to match the overall scheme and eliminate the monotony of the space. Hello @armasdiaze, a great construction and jewel of the Venezuelan colonial architecture, despite the remodeling retains the essence of the traditional style of the churches of the colonial era, the arrangement of the clock and towers is common in this type of construction, in the area where I live, the churches have some similarity with this one, but each one in particular has details that make them unique.

The colonial style exterior architecture of this church is unforgettable, and always painted white, I remember it since I was a child. Located in front of the legendary Plaza Girardot.
