RE: Architecture Moments™ 7: Notre Dame Cathedral

I have an emotional relationship with Notre Dame, so I'm not objective. I saw it for the first time a long time ago, when I was 17. It made a colossal impression on me. Even in our high-tech times, buildings like this are awe-inspiring. It must have taken ages to work out every detail! In Poland, we name it "lacework."

We're on the same page, as I also developed an intimate connection with Notre Dame since the day she pierced my heart - the same way you must have felt when you visited her during your teens. It's simply difficult to detach yourself and forget a gorgeous lady like her after enjoying a romantic date together. And yes, due to this cathedral's extremely intricate architectural details such as the carvings, sculptures, and rose windows, Polish lacework, which is also equally elaborate, would truly be an inspiring comparison. Thanks so much for your lovely remarks! 😊
