A few days ago, my husband and I just visited Kuala Lumpur after a long time, maybe it's been 5 years since we last went there. The taste is still the same, the food in Kuala Lumpur is really very special. Its so different from our last visit to Kuala Lumpur, this time we only transit for 1 day and continued our journey home to Indonesia.
For the first time, my husband and I transit from Kuala Lumpur, but we were so surprise to find out that Kuala Lumpur has 2 airports that are still active for international flights. Maybe some people who are visiting Kuala Lumpur for the first time will be confuse about the airport in this city because it has the same name, is in the same area but is quite far away. Because the plane transit this time took a long time, 24 hours, so we decided to leave KLIA 2 airport and stay at a hotel near the city.
Good luck was on our side, because we almost missed our flight because we got off at the wrong KLIA 2 airport because we didn't understand that we had to fly from KLIA Airport, which is around 10 minutes away by bus. However, we both arrived at KLIA airport on time.
This was my first time at KLIA airport and I was amazed by this place, even though in fact if you compare it with KLIA 2 airport which is very large, maybe even 10 times bigger than this airport. I was amazed by this airport because it seemed like this airport was quite old, long before there was KLIA 2 airport, this airport was used by the government for all flights.
In the middle of the airport, I saw a small forest that could be seen but was not allowed to enter, but, even so, I liked this airport which was quieter and not as busy as other airports. This small forest seems to create a very different vibe, why is that? Maybe because it looks greener, you know maybe it looks a bit like Changi Airport, a smaller version.
Before take off, I usually go to the toilet to clean so as not to disturb the person sit next to me, it is very difficult to go to the toilet on a plane and I don't like it because there is minimal water used. I think, of all the airports I've visit, the toilets at this airport are interesting for me to discuss.
This toilet is right in front of the international flight gate, I entered in awe because it was very clean and smelled good, there was a guard and he cleaned the toilet every time someone entered. In fact, this toilet is cleaner than the toilet at my house. This room consists of 3 main cubicles for toilets and 1 nursing area.
These three cubicles are really very sophisticated, the toilet can clean itself, meaning without me having to press a button, it will flush itself when I stand up. Equipped with a metal handle for anyone who needs it, this is one of the important things, where everyone will need it to help them stand without fear of slipping.
The nursing room is beautiful, there is a folding table to help babies lie down and change diapers, equipped with a special trash can for diapers. Interestingly, there is a little design that is used to make your baby comfortable. Above, there is a cloud shape hanger with white, orange, gray and blue colors.
I think this is so fun experience, when I learn something new about the airport in Kuala Lumpur was so interested. This is my 3rd time visit Kuala Lumpur, but this is my first time to KLIA and it is an honor to be able to enjoy the excellent facilities here.

Hi @aswita, definitely an airport with all the amenities to rest while waiting for the plane to depart to its next flight, the area to breastfeed and diaper the babies looks great, I liked the simple decor and the cloud shaped hangers.
