During a recent visit to Selimpaşa with a group of close friends, we had the opportunity to explore a newly developing residential area consisting of six beautifully designed blocks. Situated slightly inland, the site offers expansive views that stretch far into the horizon, adding a sense of openness and calm that’s hard to find closer to the city center. Although the construction is not yet complete, the structures are already revealing the elegance and vision behind their design.
The buildings themselves are unified in a clean, white palette that reflects the daylight, giving the entire area a bright, uplifting atmosphere. The architecture blends modern minimalism with subtle Mediterranean touches—flat roofs, sharp lines, and wide balconies that seem to invite the landscape in. Even in their unfinished state, the villas suggest a lifestyle of peace and understated luxury.
Inside, the spaces are impressively generous. Large rooms flow easily from one to the next, each one lit by wide windows that let in abundant natural light and offer unobstructed views of the surrounding greenery. The living rooms are open and airy, the kitchens well-proportioned, and the bedrooms promise quiet comfort. Some of the units even have upper-level terraces—perfect for enjoying the long summer evenings in Selimpaşa.
What stood out most, however, was the sense of calm that the location brings. The air was still, the roads quiet, and the view uninterrupted by the clutter of urban development. It felt like a space designed not just for living, but for breathing, for slowing down.
Though it’s still a work in progress, it was easy to imagine how beautiful the area will become once completed. This visit was less about property and more about atmosphere, and the memory of that place—open skies, white walls, and the easy silence of a spring afternoon—stayed with all of us long after we left
