Greetings friends lovers of architecture and design, I wish you have an excellent and blessed weekend, I am happy to share a new architectural design, this time we will visit an outstanding structure in the state of Bolivar, this is the tourist office of Maripa, It is located on Trunk 19, national highway Ciudad Bolivar -Caicara del Orinoco, very close to the aboriginal monument, which welcomes or says goodbye to this beautiful town, capital of the Sucre municipality, which stands out for its striking and flowing landscapes bathed by the Caura River.
Since I saw this construction, it caught my attention for its varied colors, panoramic windows and the excellent location with a vegetable environment, in a stop to refuel, during the trip, I took the opportunity to take pictures of the aboriginal monument and then I headed towards the headquarters of the tourist office, I liked its design and the abundance of trees that give it a fresh and welcoming style, the shape of the offices also caught my attention, particularly the roof, as it is triangular in shape with round termination which makes it very similar to the roof of the hut.
I walked around this area for a while, I took several pictures, I observed the landscape and the sky looked incredibly beautiful, the very white clouds covered the sky, they contrasted with the vegetation and this striking building; in a closer view of the office from one of its sides, you can see the roof that is brown and black, its large panoramic windows, square and rectangular, also highlights the building, part of the structure that has blue walls and pink front, which has large rectangular windows, located horizontally and vertically, The wall covers approximately half of the structure and from there start the windows, around the sidewalks, walkways and a large parking lot, on the ground of the offices is a nice carpet of grass and ornamental trees, located in a dispersed manner, there is also a water tank in the back, this is blue and is fixed in a tube of the same color.
In another view, we observe the part of the building that is painted orange and pink, its windows are really big and go approximately from the roof to a few centimeters from the bottom, it is also surrounded by trees and grass, the roof stands out for a small triangle that it has in the center, besides, it is covered with a protective mantle, to avoid being damaged by the sun, it also has blue edges in a triangular shape, next to this is located another big window in the pink wall, followed by a green wall, in one of the windows we read the phrase: “Caura 725 kilometers of adventure”, the pink office has written ‘Jaua-Sarimaña national park’ and there are some pictures of the fauna of the state, among them the Danto; the windows are located according to their size, they go from bigger to smaller, the first one is the biggest, then the others go reducing their size until arriving to number four, which is the smallest.
The window frames are made of gold-colored aluminum, the small windows, in addition to the side, upper and lower frames, have an aluminum bar in the center, the support beams are black, and the floor has a concrete wall that borders the entire building.
The tourist office, is a series of cubicles whose design, apparently was inspired by the bohío, this is an ancestral dwelling, built by the aborigines, regularly is made with palm, wood and in some cases use mud to make the side walls and internal divisions; the office is distinguished by its vibrant colors; The office is distinguished by its vibrant colors; green, pink, blue and orange, in addition to the beautiful surroundings and its bohío shape, it is very wide and the windows are made of glass, the location at the entrance of the Maripa population, allows a complete view of the building, the small circle or cap located in the center of the roof, stands out and definitely looks like a miniature bohío, the fall of the protective layer around the contour simulates the palms.
When you go towards Caicara, in a small detour and intersection of the road with the service station, to the left side, you find this attractive construction, with many trees around it that complement the beauty of the place, in fact, this area is characterized by the abundance of trees throughout the route.
After touring the area, refueling and taking many pictures, we resumed the trip, I must say, I was very happy to know this architectural work that stands out for its design and beautiful colors.
