Greetings friends lovers of architecture and design I wish you an excellent weekend together with your loved ones, I am happy to share with you again, this time a story that excites me for the work and dedication that the community has had to build the church Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquirá, located on the main avenue of Cascajal in front of the school Alberto Sanabria, according to information provided by a well-known believer who is active in the governing body of the church, this began its services in the spaces of the aforementioned school.
The parish already had a land to build the temple and the pastor on duty due to the increase of parishioners made the appropriate arrangements and the application to the Archdiocese of Caracas to request authorization for the construction and the name of the parish, approved the application began construction in 2008, the parishioners donated blocks, made sales to raise funds and received the support of a donor who contributed significantly to the development of construction, In 2012 the first service was held in the new church, by that date and until now the front part (2 towers), the sacristy, the floor, the perimeter fence and internal and external decorative details are unfinished, due to the strong economic recession that the country lived the construction work had to be paralyzed, for the near future they have plans to continue the construction, all very excited to see crystallized the dream of a community that has been working for several years for the construction of the temple.
Saludos amigos amantes de la arquitectura y diseño les deseo un excelente fin de semana en unión de sus seres queridos, me siento feliz de compartir nuevamente con ustedes, en esta ocasión una historia que me emociona por el trabajo y dedicación que ha tenido la comunidad para construir la iglesia nuestra señora del rosario de chiquinquirá, ubicada en la avenida principal de Cascajal frente a la escuela Alberto Sanabria; de acuerdo a la información suministrada por un conocido creyente que forma activa del cuerpo directivo de la Iglesia, esta inició sus servicios en los espacios de la escuela antes mencionada.
La parroquia ya tenía un terreno para construir el templo y el párroco de turno debido al incremento de feligreses hizo las gestiones correspondientes y la solicitud ante la arquidiócesis de Caracas para solicitar la autorización de la construcción y el nombre de la Parroquia, aprobada la solicitud se inició la construcción el año 2008, los feligreses donaban bloques, hicieron vendimias para recoger fondos y recibieron el apoyo de un donante que contribuyó significativamente al desarrollo de la construcción., el año 2012 se realizó el primer servicio en el nuevo templo, para esa fecha y hasta la actualidad está inconclusa la parte delantera (2 torres), la sacristía, el piso, cercado perimetral y detalles decorativos internos y externos, debido a la fuerte recesión económica que vivió el país la obra de construcción tuvo que ser paralizada, para un futuro cercano tienen planes de continuar la construcción, todos muy animados por ver cristalizado el sueño de una comunidad que lleva varios años trabajando por la construcción del templo.
The plans of the church were elaborated by a priest and architect of Italian origin who was inspired by the constructions of his native country, and exercised the priesthood during several years in the city of Cumaná; the design corresponds to the baroque style and mixes several designs of the churches of Europe, in the front part it has several columns that rest in the stairway, with triangle form in the superior part as a kind of altar, also two (2) towers to each side that are still unfinished, the front door is double with triangular adornments in the suprior part and windows in arch of half point to the side of each door.
It also has two domes one in the central part and another on the right side, the domes are aluminum and have small windows and at the top a cross wrapped in a circle and the other dome a metal cross with hearts at the tips, its design also includes circular windows at the top front, back and sides, the roof is wood with a protective mantle, on one side there are several circular windows smaller than the one located at the top.
Los planos de la iglesia fueron elaborados por un sacerdote y arquitecto de origen italiano que se inspiró en las construcciones de su país natal, y ejercicio el sacerdocio durante varios años en la ciudad de Cumaná; el diseño corresponde al estilo barroco y mezcla varios diseños de las iglesias de Europa, en la parte frontal tiene varias columnas que reposan en la escalera, con forma de triángulo en la parte superior como una especie de altar, también dos (2) torres a cada lado que aún están inconclusas, la puerta delantera es doble con adornos triangulares en la parte suprior y ventanas en arco de medio punto al lado de cada puerta.
Posee además dos cúpulas una en la parte central y otra en el lado derecho, las cúpulas son de aluminio y poseen pequeña ventanas y en la parte superior una cruz envuelta en un círculo y el otro domo una cruz de metal con corazones en las puntas, su diseño incluyen también ventanas circulares en la parte superior delantera , trasera y laterales,el techo es de madera con un manto protector, en uno de los lados se aprecian varias ventanas circulares más pequeñas que la ubicadas en la parte superior.

An important aspect of this church is the name it has and in fact it is the only one in the state with that name and an uncommon design in the entity, it is the only one I know of with that model and it was very exciting to see it again and the progress of construction; I couldn't take photos inside because it was closed, although it's not finished yet you can see its incredible design that contrasts with the landscape.
La cúpula lateral descansa en una columna decorada con figuras en alto relieve de forma triangular y pequeñas columnas, al lado de la cúpula se encuentra una cornisa triangular decorada con esferas y líneas verticales, también se aprecia una ventana semi circular y al lado de esta, dos ventanas en alto relieve con terminaciones triangulares.
Un aspecto importante en esta iglesia es el nombre que tiene y de hecho es la única en el estado con ese nombre y un diseño poco común en la entidad, es la única que conozco con ese modelo y fue muy emocionante verla nuevamente y lo avanzado de la construcción; no pude tomar fotos en el interior porque estaba cerrada, aunque aún no está terminada se puede observar su increíble diseño que contrasta con el paisaje.
The side door has two leaves and has a triangle at the top, plus a cornice that divides the wall in half, also two windows in high relief on both sides of the door and columns in the corners, the back has a beautiful garden that extends to the left side of the church and the front with colorful flowers, the ladies of the church take care of the maintenance and care of the church and garden facilities, the community in general is very committed to the care of the church and is preserved in good condition.
La puerta lateral, es de dos hojas y tiene un triángulo en la parte superior, además una cornisa que divide la pared por la mitad, también dos ventanas en alto relieve a ambos lados de la puerta y columnas en las esquinas, la parte trasera tiene un hermoso jardín que se extiende al lado izquierdo de la iglesia y el frente con coloridas flores, las damas de la iglesia se encargan del mantenimiento y cuidado de las instalaciones de la iglesia y el jardín, la comunidad en general está muy comprometida con el cuidado de la iglesia y se conserva en buen estado.

I like unique church buildings like this, the high walls and unique ornaments in every carving on the walls and roof are very good.
The carvings on the walls give a different style to the temple, the ones I have seen in the city do not have these details, also the decorative elements are unique and with an excellent finish that does not go unnoticed.
